Have just updated my ReadyNas Duo with the LogitechMediaServer v7.7 SqueezeCenter. Trying to manage play lists using Playlist Manager Plugin. Enabled the plugin (listed as V6) under the plugin tab of the Server Settings page but not sure it's working. Does it support this version of SqueezeCenter? Do I need to disable the Save Playlist (V1.0) plugin supplied by Logitech? You don't have to disable that plugin afaik . PlaylistMan works from Touch running 7.7.1 Note that it a player interface only plugin it does not have any web-UI stuff . I think both have been on the most wanted list for years and it's
pretty clear Logitech isn't interesting in adding it to the standard

hi, came across your post, i had a problem with the playlist manager and the duet working with the latest nightly of 7.6 http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=631726#post631726 funnily enough it worked for a while though i did notice it was unstable Its a great plugin and along with trackstar what i cant unsderstand is why logitech dont incorporate both (or key parts of both) in to its core 7.6 fork ... after all track rating and playlist management are key BASIC functions of any music management system ... when tyou get to a larger music collection it becomes even more essential for them. Is there any similar plugins that do that in 7.6? No I don't think so, you probably have to wait for Playlist Manager to be updated so it's supported under 7.6. I'm pretty sure that will happen one way or another after 7.6 has been released. Yes, as soon as I manage to get 7.6 to work properly, I'll update the plugin (provided no other functionality is removed in the 7.6 release). At the moment for me, 7.5.4 is a lot more stable and performs better. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Playlist Manager type plugin for SBS 7.6?
Decided to try 7.6 and I like it, works fine seems to work better. Only snag is Playlist Manager plugin doesn't work. I contacted teh Author and its not supported for 7.6. What I did was if I liked a song, I could just click on the context menu for it and add it to a specific playlist on my server. Is there any similar plugins that do that in 7.6?
