As far as the track playing 25-30ish seconds into the song. That's still happening. It's buffering heavy when the track loads. time slider on song track on the spotify IOS app is always that 23-30 seconds faster than the slider on the squeezebox touch screen. Squeezebox touch screen reads the accurate time placement of song. And the losing users on the IOS app and them reappearing is definitely spotty.exe related. Rebooting LMS will make them reappear. One or the other will disappear randomly until LMS is rebooted. We both had spotty for the squeezebox option on both the PC and iphone after auto authorizing and selecting the device. Even though I authorized I still couldn't play until I went back into LMS and entered my Spotify user name and password. Then that device disappeared for everyone except me. Could it be the other person is using Spotify at the same time as you're trying to use it? Still having issues. Seems like possibly a gapless issue but cant confirm. Either way, the app will show the track anywhere from 15-30 seconds and then start playing the song at that time. Your log still reports 'Authentication failed with reason: BadCredentials'. Please go to Settings/Information to find the path to your LMS cache folder. In there you should find a sub-folder called "spotty". Please zip that folder with all its content, and upload it to my dropbox. Thanks guys, the info part was what I was missing. Set to info, apply, removed spotify credentials, re-added. Then went to advanced/logging and zipped the media server file log. Hope that does it. And did you try to reproduce your problem, too? If I select Spotty on the Squeezbox it seems to work fine, starts from beginning of song. Good to know. If I connect to my Squeezbox using Spotify Connect app on my iPhone 6, minimal delay- maybe a second or two then track just starts at approximately 30 seconds from beginning. Skip to next track and same thing, starts approximately 30 seconds into the track. Hmm... that's a new one. Installed LMS 7.9.2 and installed Spotty. On what kind of hardware/operating system? I can see my squeezbox in my devices, I can connect and play music through the IOS spotify app. Only issue I have is every song starts at 30 seconds. Are you seeing a 30s delay, or does it indeed start in the middle of a track?
