Hi Eric, Ok, it's a Personal LaserWriter, page count is 19845 (using a mechanical dial), model #EN 2300G, made in Japan in 1987; has two centronics connectors and one 8 pin mini-din (AppleTalk, I guess). If you Google the following: GCC laser printer (i.e., laser printer in quotes as a single phrase), then just a little ways down the results page (if you have it set to 100 hits/page) you'll find all kinds of places selling GCC printer supplies. Also, since it's a GCC, the proper name is likely 'Personal Laser Printer' and the appropriate drivers are going to be listed on their page as 'PLP'. - Eric. -- Eric Strobel ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) = *I'd* rather wear fur than go naked! = -- PowerBooks is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... The 5300ce has 16 megs on board, and so it cannot use the 56 mb card. Why it can't use the 48, I don't know. Data Memory Systems lists a 48 MB card for the 5300ce... I have a few firewire drives I want to play with on the 3400c but not sure if I want to spend the $100+ for a firewire card just to have it not work. I got USB working, not sure about firewire. Any input is greatly appreciated. I've got a Newer FW2Go card and it works on my _non-upgraded_ 3400s, with the caveat that I had to trim the end of the card to allow it to fit into the cage. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/macdan/3400cardbus.html I haven't tested lots of devices, but I do recall for sure it working with a Lacie 60GB desktop drive. I've got a bunch of other FW devices but heck if I can remember if I tried anything else. Been weeks since I played, I'm afraid my memory has many fawlty circuits. hth, Dan . http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 . -- PowerBooks is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and...
