If so, with what encoding/ compression? What's the attachment name? Check the write permissions in the Temp Outgoing folder, into her PowerMail user folder. Is there some temporary files there? Jérôme - PowerMail Engineering - There's a reason Mac users from different countries have chosen this very good program. 1) It just works. 2) It's not bloated like some other mail applications. 3) And it's better than Mail, the program that comes with OS X. Honest. Would I recommend PowerMail? Definitely. PowerMail user comment on www.versiontracker.com Download a demo version from www.ctmdev.com -

Re(2): can't send mail
Hi, we also have the same SMTP server, and it works for my accounts on that server. I just created an account for her email address on my powermail, and was able to send mail - tried it again from hers, and still no go. I then started up Powermail 4.2.1 on hers, created a new user environment and a new account with her email, and it worked. Are there others out there using Powermail 5 and OS 10.2.8? Nothing else is really different between our machines (except I have alot more junk installed on mine). It seems the only solution is to downgrade her Powermail. :( jrh Could be that a setting in 'Outgoing SMTP Server' needs changing. Have a word with your ISP. I suspected a corrupted database problem, but we tried creating a new user environment and re-entered the account information and powermail still can't send mail. She has the same mail server I have (though a different account) and can recieve mail normally. The only difference is that my computer is OS 10.3.4 and her computer is OS 10.2.8 (I don't want to upgrade it to panther because there is a problem with printing to an airport base station printer under panther and it's good to have one computer that can print normally).
