Re: Way to toggle quantize on and off
Hi, If you mean Input Quantize, the toggle for this is found under the Event menuEvent operationsInput Quantize. Look for the checkbox “Enable Input Quantize”. I assume it is checked, so you should uncheck it. This is under PT11 in Mavericks. Hope this helps! Strange mix window layout
Hi, I’ve seen this in several versions of PT, but since it’s not a big deal, I have not done much to fix it. But some of you might have seen that in some situations, the shown tracks in your mix window will for a VoiceOver user appear to the left of the window name, and above the “Show/hide” button related to the track list. I have tried to press the zoom button to resize the window, pressed the “Mix window” button to simplify the layout, closed and reopened the mix window to refresh it, but the layout is the same. In some cases, the tracks even appear to the left of the close/minimize/zoom buttons. Again, this is not a big deal, the tracks are there, but the positioning is somewhat strange... ;) If someone know how to fix this, I’d appreciate it. Re: Strange mix window layout
Hi John, Yeah, this sometimes happens and I have absolutely no idea why. Obviously it's not a Pro Tools issue itself but in the way VoiceOver perceives the order of things. I also seen this in the MIDI Event List window. At some point, I went into the window and no longer found the table and thought that something got broken in the latest version. Turns out, it was the same issue: the table appeared before the pop-up button rather than after it as is normally the case. Re: Strange mix window layout
Hey Slau, I don't know if this will work in 11. but previously in Pro Tools 9. if I swiped my finger across the multi touch sensitive mouse from left to right, I was able to get the screen to reorganize the grouping of the elements. Hope this help. That's interesting. If it works with the mouse, it should work with a track pad. I'll try it to see if I can reproduce those results. Thanks, Slau On Nov 1, 2014, at 12:17 PM, Sean A. Re: Strange mix window layout
Not sure if this still holds true in 11 either, but the way I used to solve this was to close the mix window, restart VO, then reopen the mix window. Worth noting that it had to actually be closed rather than just switched away from for the rebuild to work. Hth Scott On 11/1/14, Slau Halatyn slauhala...@gmail.com wrote: That's interesting. Check boxes and popup buttons in Protools 11
Hi guys, this is my first post here... So, since I've up graded my OS for the new Yosemite, I've been having problems on checking and unchecking check boxes and interacting with pop up buttons using VO + space bar. It just doesn't work. simple things like creating a new track having to choose number of tracks, type, etc, or checking checkboxes in preferences, are no longer possible... Any thoughts? Cheers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Pro Tools Accessibility group. Re: Check boxes and popup buttons in Protools 11
Hi José, Welcome to the list. I haven't installed Pro Tools on the new system running Yosemite and I'm still on Mavericks on the laptop. I haven't experienced this firsthand yet but I did hear some talk of problems with default actions with the space bar. Regarding the pop-up buttons, you don't need to interact. Just click. As an alternative for now, try clicking with the physical mouse button or track pad. Either route the pointer to the VoiceOver cursor with Control-Option-Command-f4 or set the mouse pointer to follow the VoiceOver cursor. Personally, I recommend the first option. I'll let someone else chime in about keyboard shortcuts in the Create New Tracks dialog. cheers, Slau On Nov 1, 2014, at 3:57 PM, JOSÉ NETO joserrn...@gmail.com wrote: Hi guys, this is my first post here... Re: Check boxes and popup buttons in Protools 11
Sorry, I actually meant clicking when I said interacting... So, It worked! as I already had my VO curser set to be with the mouse pointer, I just pressed VO shift space bar which is the equivalent to the mouse click. still a pain to have that changed though... I guess it is what it is. Thanks Slau!! On Saturday, November 1, 2014 3:08:06 PM UTC-6, Slau Halatyn wrote: Hi José, Welcome to the list.
