Example of band in a box with ProTools
Guys, here is an example I did pretty much strictly in BIAB to give you an idea what this software is cabable of doing. Firstly, let me say that all of the samples in this file were from BIAB. there is not a single live instrument in the whole thing. Every single instrument was from the Real track soundbank library that comes with the program. If you get the ultimate version, which is what I own, then the entire sample library is literally speaking just over 80 gigs in size. You'll know why when you hear this. Trust me! All I did with ProTools on this was to import the raw wave stem tracks which were generated by BIAB, run some leveling, E queueing, and a teeny, and I do mean a teeny! bit of compression. Everything else was totally BIAB. I'm sorry, but Music Memos for iOS was totally, after playing with this for about 45 minutes quite thoroughly not even remotely able to come close to this type production. Anyway, for what it's worth, here you all go. I did a song you all should be fairly familiar with. That way, you all would know what exactly to be expecting. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16962268/01%20-%20Music%20Box%20Dancer%20final%20draft.wav Chris. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Just tried it. Absolutely not! I very very much appreciate the attempted help. He asked me to please post this for him on this list since he is not subscribed. This is a cut and paste from a Twitter direct message. Feel free to email Andre if you have any questions or wish to discuss this with him directly. ---Begin message--- Hello everyone. Firstly, I'd personally like to say that I'm grateful for all the emails I've received regarding the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol system with speech. I have been asked however, not to disseminate the information to the general public, as such. I am free to discuss it, and even to show the demo as I have done, but I sent it to individuals, not to a mailing list. As it is unreleased software, of course it is subject to change without warning, and because of that, it is not up for discussion in-public. that also means via methods available to those using a search engine. For queries, you will come directly to myself, available on twitter freely via @OnjMusic, or if you prefer email, please use onj.lo...@gmail.com. The contact I have cultivated at NI is incredibly willing to hear from you all with any questions, but has asked that I pass them along so he doesn't get too bombarded with emails. I respect that he's allowing me to discuss this at all, so please respect the decision not to discuss my demo in a public forum. I'm not asking for much, other than to stay out of potential trouble with a company who is just now willing to work with us on providing access to software we previously did not have access to. Kindly abide by this and we will have no problems at all. I myself have just purchased the Komplete Kontrol S61 and await access to the software. I fully intend to do a live Q session with interested parties when it arrives, and we can work something out at a date convenient to those interested in this topic. Re: Round-Call: Software-Instruments for PT
I was asked not to share it. The version of complete that will incorporate this accessibility feature will be coming out in credibly soon. Then, I think Andre will allow people to share the demo. He showed it to a couple of us. I'm not sure who shared it over on the other list, but they did so without his consent. Sent from my iPhone > On May 25, 2016, at 7:12 AM, Sean A. I'll definitely give that a go, knowing that this Company has some other great products out, like Audio Hijack. Thanks for pointing me that way. Of course some electronic/synth sounds are always welcome1but since I'm a bit of an analogue nerd i would make my own...:) So any advice on that? I am thinking about giving the NI Komplete Kontrol keyboard a try, but if I could find something similar and less costly that would be great. Kindest regards, and again thanks. Re: Round-Call: Software-Instruments for PT
I have heard the native instruments demo, and it will be ProTools compatible. The self voicing part of this uses the Apple system voice, so it can run standalone or in any plug and host. Really excited for this new turn of events, and the minute that this access is built into the next version of complete, I will be ordering complete ultimate with the 61 note controller. The built in sounds that come with ProTools suck royally, structure has proven itself to be less than desirable, so I am ready for some really great sounds for ProTools. This type of access couldn't come soon enough. Sent from my iPhone > On May 24, 2016, at 2:58 PM, Slau Halatynwrote: > > Hi Joy, > > I'd imagine it's the same kind of deal with the OmniSphere stuff.
