Cheers Slau, and I'd just like to say you and the team have done a great job on
the Pro Tools tutorials. It will make the jump over much easier, if I go the
Mac route.

Hi Ian,
For what it’s worth, the instructions on ptaccess.github.io
are more comprehensive and technically more
up-to-date.

RE: Issues installing everything

2024-03-07 Thread ianlrattray
Hi Mark

Thanks for getting back. I wondered as I didn’t find OS 14 Sonoma in the Flow
Tools script. Good news on the Pro Tools front, I redownloaded it and
installed again and it’s working pretty well even if not supported yet. I’m
currently going through the excellent tutor on the Flow Tools site.

Kind regards

Ian

Hi Ian,

Pro Tools isn't officially supported on Sinoma yet, and Flo Tools isn't yet
either. I patched the installer to install on Sinoma and it should go into the
next Flo Tools release.

Best,

Marc

strange voiceover behaviour

2024-03-07 Thread Tom Hessels
Hi All,

I'm using the latest pro tools and flo tools and running ventura 13.6.4 on a
mac studio.

When i open a project and if not active switch to the mix window and Select
a track and with star, nummer keys, enter, insert a startpoint the voiceover
cursor jumps into th edit window. I have to tap command plus = two times to
go back to the mix windows.

I found out that when i stop voiceover with command F5 and start voiceover
again all works fine. No jumping when inserting a startpoint.

A friend with the same configuration has the same problem.

Anny one here has this behaviour to or has a better solution?

Tom.
