Properly using drum samples in ProTools

2021-11-02 Thread Josh Govero
Hi everyone newbie to this group I was wondering if anybody could recommend
a plug-in that would work well with drum samples in ProTools I tried Steven
slate trigger but couldn't get past the accessibility issues to get it
loaded in the first place lol or could possibly give me some tips for using
flotools with properly placing and pasting drum samples the standard
videos on YouTube don't seem to really apply here lol I have figured out
how to move between the tracks for tab to transient I think I spelled that
wrong lol but I can't seem to properly import my drum samples or use the
cut command, thank you for your time

Re: how do i make sure that the plug ins are deleted in the audio directy of avid?

2021-11-21 Thread Josh Govero
hello using ProTools 21 10 currently, however I don’t believe it’s changed I
typically go to my SST volume under computer, then to library, then down to
application support, then down to the avid folder, then to the audio folder,
in that folder you will find two more folders LOL labeled audio plug-ins and
unused plug-ins, when I first started avid said to start from your home, or
the thing with your name on it lol but I could never find it there I have to
start with computer select my internal volume and go to library from there,
hope that helps a little, especially hope it made sense 😂

Re: Any recommendations for Waves plugins?

2022-01-04 Thread Josh Govero
hello I have waves platinum series subscription, just about everything CLA and
just about anything with SSL in it lol I don’t really have any complaints about
the plug-ins other than you cannot use any presets because they are accessed
in a pulldown menu that we can not access and they were having issues with save
and copy and paste and all those typical ProTools commands in the plug-ins
because they had their own buttons in the pulldown menu I have reported it and
I’m pretty sure it’s fixed now I have to go check, however here’s the big
caveat to download waves plug-ins you have to download the wave central app to
get past the license agreement part you will have to have a sided person once
they agree to the ULA and stuff for you you can use the wave Central app and
you can download any of the plug-ins it’s just that one agreeing to the license
thing that voiceover loves to not work on LOL I would also highly recommend
McDsp all their plug-ins work perfectly even loading presets, The gobbler
store has their everything native package for 1495 a month I believe it’s like
28 or 29 plug-ins it might even be more and then any future ones they create
are included might be worth checking out ☺️
