Hello, Thank you for your reply. Yes, I can not find MIDI settings. but The documentation describes the feature. I tried using "RealTime". As you say, I was able to find the MIDI settings. Accessibility of Waves Tune
Hi all, I use Pro Tools and Flo Tools. Recently I bought Waves Tune. I made a test project, made a vocal track, and inserted Waves Tune into it. I succeeded in playing the vocals and scanning the pitch. When I played it after scanning, I could see that the pitch was corrected. But pitch correction didn't come to my mind. So I decided to create one MIDI track and send the data from that track to Tune. But I couldn't find any MIDI settings in Tune's plugin window. Can you tell me if there is any good way? *KIRIAKE Masanori切明 政憲 *E-Mail: sei...@rd01.net ji6...@gmail.com *WebPage: http://www.rd01.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. I don't use Waves products in general but, for keyboard input of MIDI pitch data, it's usually a matter of putting the plug-in into a mode where it receives MIDI note information and uses it to establish a target pitch. Re: Instantiating an instance of Waves Tune Realtime on a ProTools track
Hi Alex, Under the Basics area of the Preferences dialog, take a look at the "Organize Plug-ins Menus by" pop-up button. I recommend using "Category and manufacturer." This gives you the best of both worlds. If you're not sure what category a plug-in would fall into, you can look under the manufacturers submenus which appear below the categories. Keep in mind that some plug-ins will not show up if you're trying to instantiate something that isn't meant for the track format. For example, waves' L2 is a stereo plug-in which has no mono equivalent so, if you're trying to instantiate it on a mono track, you simply won't find it. Now, waves might have changed that in later versions but this has certainly been the case for many years. Some plug-ins will only show up under multiple mono rather than multi-channel menus. You might have to poke around a bit and double-check whether the plug-in you're trying to find will be compatible with the track to which you're trying to insert it. Waves Tune (Which Flavor?)
Hello All. I seem to remember a discussion on-list regarding the fact that Waves Tune is indeed accessible using VoiceOver. Please advise whether it is the Waves Tune Live or the regular Waves Tune (off-line) version that is accessible, or is it both? Are we, as VoiceOver users, able to pitch correct individual notes using a MIDI keyboard, or is that a feature that is only reserved for sighted users? Thanks so much for any feedback that you can provide. I need to acquire a vocal pitch correction tool ASAP and was leaning toward Antares Auto-Tune, until I started seeing stuff about Waves. So, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, and have a great day. Alex -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. cool man. I guess the main question is did you get it to work. if so, how accessible did you find it. some have said that it used to be in accessible. I can seem to get to the controls of the plugin if i apply it to the track through audio sweet. not sure if i have all the controls. The thing is, when i select a key, and then go to process audio, it doesn’t seem to change things much, But i think it’s doing something, But i I’ve played with things like scale, and range, also pitch position. Any information on waves tune from anyone would be very much appreciated. I will concidder autotune if waves tune does not work. t,pain.10111 can anyone tell me if t.pain is comparrable to autotune. or am i better to invest in antares. I’m not necessarily after the auto tune effect. Just need good retuning. Does num pad commander work correctly? Can you enter values from the num pad? Can you enter counter values? are you using an extended keyboard or is it a separate num pad? USB? BlueTooth? RE: waves tune
Hello Steve, I have used it mostly in the same way, by selecting audio and applying the effect to the selection through the audio sweet versus placing the plugin on an insert. One way to see if you are making changes is to copy audio to another track, apply the change with Wave tune to one of the tracks and then do a side by side comparison by muting one or the other of the tracks. If you find the values changing in the controls then you are making changes. I use a control surface to make changes in the parameters. -Original Message- From: ptaccess@googlegroups.com [mailto:ptaccess@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Steve Sparrow Sent: Friday, March 27, 2015 12:34 PM To: ptaccess@googlegroups.com Subject: waves tune cool man. Hi Kevin, The parameters don't work in the RTAS version. Like I said in the past with my Control/24 everything is accessible except the button to move the corrected notes to the bad ones! :( It may be a different story in pt 11 but I still haven't moved my work flow completely to pt 11 yet. Heres what all of you can do though? Drop an email to; Yaron Makler yar...@waves.com Waves Tech Support is here for you, please do not hesitate to contact us with any matter. Have a great day Best Regards, Yaron Makler Technical Support Manager www.waves.comhttp://www.waves.com/ And just ask about the current state of VoiceOver accessibility for Waves Products. Thanks to the list in advance for getting involved in the Waves VoiceOver issue!
