Help!
Hi everybody, I'm starting with qmail and I installed vckhpw and qmailadmin, as well as autoresponder and ezlml The problem comes when I try to get the mail. I'm running it in a Solaris 2.6 SPARC. Can I ask you something else?. I'm using the vchkpw and the thing is that when I try to administer the main domain (localdomain) from the qmailadmin, I enter the postmaster password, previously set by the vuserpass (or similar) and I can't log in the main domain to modify things, but I can with a virtual domain I've created and works... Also, for the user to log in the pop3 account should he enter: user%virtualdomain.com ?. Is there any way to fix this?. Thanks!!. Martin. Binaries for Solaris SPARC 2.6
Hi everybody, Me again, sorry for the mess.I've compiled the qmail with the Sparccompiler 3.01 (from Sun) and sometimes it hangs and dissapears. I would like to try other set of binaries (maybe compiled with other compiler). Can somebody tell me where can I get them?. Or at least give me a way to check that my set of binaries are working well?. Thanks!... .qmailadmin-limits problem
Hi everyone, I finally configured the qmailadmin + qmail and everythings seems to be working well. I only have 2 problems now: 1) the .qmailadmin-limits file works, but for example, if you erase one alias (and you previously reached the max # of aliases allowed) so you would have 1 free to add, it still says that the max # was reached, even if you have one alias available. 2) As ken said, no implementation of support for local users is still not done in qmailadmin, anybody resolved this? 3) When creating a new user with the vchkpw command "vadduser" for the local domain, it doesn't create the file .qmail (containing: "./Maildir/") so the mail is not delivered to that account, how can I fix this?. I'm using Solaris 2.6...any idea?. Thanks 4 everything!. Martin.

Hi everybody, Here I am deciding which webmail I'm going to use, because of functionality that I have seen, the IMP seems better, but I just read that there's no way to use it with vchkpw or something simillar. Also, I need to implement some kind of page that the user could fill and get himself an email account for free. Which is the way I could do that with any of those 2 programs I don't know and I can't find it anywhere!. Could somebody tell me where to find more info?. Or other webmail:) Thanks!!!

Hi, What I'm actually looking for is a webmail -hotmail like- server to be installed in my qmail server and use it to give free webmail to my ISP users. Hi again, I'm now configuring SQWebmail. I'm going to enter all the parameters for it in the ./configure [parameters] but I've found some of them confussing: 1) If I'm using vchkpw, should I also put --enable-webpass=yes ? or not?. 2) In with-maxformargsize=n (n is expressed in kilobytes?) 3) Where can I get a Banners program for SQWebmail 4) Is there any Spell checker for spanish?. Hi, I'm having that exact problem, I've just upgraded to vchkpw 3.4.6 and that started to show... Did you find any way to fix it??? SQWebmail....compilation problems...(0.20)

Can't resolve & clearopensmtp

Long waiting SMTP
Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with the smtp server. It works, but as I'm still in testing mode (not still connected to internet) it waits like 4 minutes until it sends: #5.5.1 Not implemented (I can't remember the error code exactly) ESMTP helo gfagfd.domain.com I have my dns perfectly configured and running and all the routes are ok. Problems with tcpserver
Hi!! I'm having some trouble with tcpserver. I'm trying to use relaying, and I already have a process running with the following parameters: qmaild 3464 238 0 23:33:43 ?0:00 tcpserver -H -R -v - x/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -u101 -g100 0 25 rblsmtpd /var/qmail/bin and also a file, which I compiled with tcprules in /etc/tcp.smtp and tcp.smtp.db with this contents: # cat /etc/tcp.smtp 200.20.10.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="" 200.43.4.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="" :allow Where 200.20.10.X is a local private network and 200.43.4.X is my C class of internet. The problem I'm having is that telnetting from the same mail server to port 25 it says it can't relay : 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1) But I'm supposed to be an allowed client to relayI'm on that list What should I do?. problems in queue
Hi all!, I'm getting this message in the syslog. It seems that that file is missing, because I've checked in the queue/local/16/ and didn't find it. Any idea how to stop qmail to try sending this message?. I've checked with qmail-sanity and worked just fine (nothing wrong in the queue?). Thanks! Hi, I had a spammer in my system which sent many mails to many domains, and as I have tcp.smtp rules it should did it from my own dialups, so I have the syslog with the following messages.. Is there any way to know the IP from this guy?. And How can I filter per Subject instead of From???. problem with virtual domain

Local or/and virtualdomain?
Hi, My default domain is working for a couple of months in both the virtualdomains and the defaultdomain + rcpthosts. Should I take it out from one of those?. I'm using vpopmail +sqwebmail . Hi!, Thanks for the tip. I need to implement something like that, but I only need to send to the remote address the From and Subject of the email. Any idea how to strip that from the message?. We are going to implement an email forward service to cell phones and pagers, so I need only to send that info and not the whole message. Urgent!: Really Weird Problems with qmail
Hi!, I'm having problems with qmail. I don't know why, but when I send an email to certain addresses at certain moments the mail gets sent to other addresses that I don't even know, and many even not exist. So if I send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (my default domain) the mail gets perfectly delivered to that mailbox but it seems that qmail also tries to send it to some more destinations which I don't even know the email addresses ever. The weird thing is that this happens sometimes, not always. One of the account is a vpopmail account with a .qmail inside the maildir, which includes 3 address in this format: .qmail contents: &[EMAIL PROTECTED] &[EMAIL PROTECTED] &[EMAIL PROTECTED] And belongs to vpopmail:vchkpw (user:group) Any idea at all?...is it a virus to the clients (I've tried different machines, different clients - outlook, pegasus- and happens the same thing) or anything else?. One cause could be that I upgraded my vpopmail version latelybut I really don't know!.. Subs Pager Service for Qmail Users
Hi all, I was required to add a service to Qmail, a subscription service (over the web) that could forward the user the From,Date, Subject of the message to his cell phone/pager. Here in Argentina, the cell phones and pagers have email addresses to I would just have to mail them that info. Any idea how to tell Qmail to do the forward, but only those 3 fields of the message?. Should I have to add a .qmail file somewhere? (I need to let the message get delivered in the account too) Anybody did this before? Thanks!
Ezmlm-list Moderations
Hi All, I know this is not exactly the place to write, but I'm sure you all can help me with this simple question: I have a list and want only 5 people to write to that list, and not the others. And it should be moderated. I'm using ezmlm-0.53. How can I do that? I checked in www.ezmlm.org and could find the answer. Thanks
