C 5.3 will hit the streets today sometime. the torrents are already up and seeded waiting for the official announcement (i've got mine already). the torrent is available from one of the developers site. Well, I do not inform here about all Clamav updates, because: - I don't want to bother anybody (like jake), who is using his own time for helping us. - I only report versions which correct known vulnerabilities, because, I think, the community wants to be secure, or at least know how insecure it is. - Not all the updates are relevant. - The clamav-updates do it for me, and has so low traffic, that it's the same like being informed by a qmailtoaster-list user. The package is on the main site now. Seemed to run fine here on a devel VM, but that's not the same as a real world loaded test. It will not show in qtp-newmodel or qtp-ami-up2date as of yet (nor will the current-download script grab it) until it's been in the field for a few days. You'll have to manually upgrade to use it. If no one reports any bugs to me then I'll move it to the main stream in a couple days. According to /etc/services, that port is reserved for Sieve mail filter daemon. At a bare minimum for email and pop3, you need 25 and 110. 2000 is not used at all.
