Hi Jake,

You can allways be informed of new releases of clamav by subscribing:

Traffic: Low (fewer than 1 msg per day)

Well, I do not inform here about all Clamav updates, because:

- I don't want to bother anybody (like jake), who is using his own time for
helping us.
- I only report versions which correct known vulnerabilities, because, I
think, the community wants to be secure, or at least know how insecure it
is.
- Not all the updates are relevant.
- The clamav-updates do it for me, and has so low traffic, that it's the
same like being informed by a qmailtoaster-list user.

Thank you again, jake :)

When updating from 5.2 to 5.3 you can run into a problem with rpm:

It will not show in qtp-newmodel or qtp-ami-up2date as of yet (nor will

I don't believe so, at least not at this point in time. According to
/etc/services, that port is reserved for Sieve mail filter daemon. Sieve
might be used by the toaster some time after/when dovecot is implemented.

It does not. At a bare minimum for email and pop3, you need 25 and 110.
2000 is not used at all.

You'll find that not very many system daemons use anything above port 1024.
