Thanks Ganesh. That did it but I'm not sure what it did other than removing the blank lines. I rebuilt it with my settings and it still worked. I didn't have the blanks in the tcp.smtp file. They showed up when I pasted it. I'm assuming they were causing the problem. Now I need to figure out how they got in there. This one is for Jake: OK, I found how it's getting the spaces. If you save it from QControl it will no longer parse correctly. Re: [qmailtoaster] tcprules
What did you use to edit the file? Is it possible that you had some CR characters in with your LF characters (DOS format)? You would see the CRs in the vi editor. Re: [qmailtoaster] tcprules
The tcp.smtp file isn't used to run, only the tcp.smtp.cdb file. As long as there's a .cdb file, it should at least run. I've never seen blank lines in a tcp.smtp file, but that doesn't mean they're not ok. I'd get rid of them if they're there. I'd start taking things out one at a time. Looking for information about tcp.smtp? Try: # mansfor ucspi-tcp-toaster Pretty cool. ;) Phil Leinhauser wrote: OK, I just did a qmailctl cdb and I'm getting unable to parse errors.
