Sounds like anxiety, Greg, or maybe depression. All your physical problems
may be catching up with you mentally. Do you feel restless, like you could
just explode? Do you take anything for anxiety or depression?

All my health issues are cleared up, and I was fine for a week, but the
last couple days I've been so sore, feeling blahhh, don't want to eat, bad
spasms, etc.

I'm so sore I'm shaky. Kinda feel cold, kinda feel warm. Pain meds don't
even phase it. I usually live for the sun and I haven't had a lot of it
lately. Either too cold, cloudy, rain, etc. Yet today was very nice, warm,
sunny, but I go out and I just can't even relax in the sun. Restless, can't
concentrate, even the sun bothered me. I can hardly sleep lately. I fall
asleep fairly fast, but wakeup an hour later and lay there for hours, Then
dozing on and off in the morning.

I'm just wearing out. I can deal with it all, but the pain gets to me.

Greg

FW: [QUAD-L] Itchig Head

2015-12-31 Thread Raymond Kelly
It is interesting reading about everybody having dry skin and itching problems.
I am a C3/4 complete 22 years post injury and I have the opposite problem. My
skin is so oily I have a bad problem with acne. Pretty much all over my body.
My head use to get so itchy it would drive me nuts. The only thing that we
found that work was that we scrub my head really good with soap and water twice
a day and it generally keeps the itching under control. It is pretty bad when
you are 50 years old and is still have bad problems with acne. Actually I think
it is worse now than when I was a teenager.

I hope everybody has a good new year.

Hi all,

I think we all suffer from dry skin etc. I suffered with dry scalp for years
until I found that using T-GEL shampoo. It cleared it up within a week. I do
not use any conditioner.

I suffer, like everyone here who takes medicine that causes dry mouth And it
seems every medicine I take does it. We don’t sweat (at the C-5 level anyway)
and our skin does not have the capability of generating its own oils.

After 25 years my teeth have fallen out of my head. Lately I have been
prescribed massive amounts of vitamin D to help with The Loss of Calcium.
Recently, I find my fingernails are falling out (I should stop biting them to
shorten them) but I think it’s from a lack of some nutrient in the body.

Hope this helps

 Billy

nothing helps. I'm up all night trying to scratch my scalp.

My face too, it's like I have loose hairs tickling my face.

Can allergies cause that? My left eye is watering bad for 3

I may have scratched it rubbing it so much.

[QUAD-L] Falling forward

Weird but true:

I've read several posts about wearing a chest strap. I am a C-5/6 with some
balance, but I had a friend who was a C4/5.

I have never worn a chest strap, but my friend always wore one. For some
unknown reason, when by himself, he decided to go down a steep hill by his
barn. The area was grass and the front wheel sunk into the ground throwing
him forward. The foot rests of his wheelchair kept him from falling
forward, but there he was his body stuck in midair. They found him several
hours later, but too late as the chest strap would not allow him to breathe.

Just weird but true.
