I think we are approaching 500 billion spent on Iraq in the past 4 years. that's more like 10 billion a month. that 1 billion disappears every 3 days. 333 million a day = 14 million per hour = 237 thousand a minute = 4 thousand per second.. tick tock tick tock very depressing. I understand the problem with funding and money for disabled..i didn't 30 days ago..but I see it now..The project and its funding..I am working on now...If I could get enough families, folks, etc. to say interested..i think, I can get the lenders, banks, corporations to back the community idea..I am not aware of anything like it in the World..Japan has communities..but they were set up..to hide family problems of disability..things may have changed..Keep the advice coming..The more I learn the less I know..Myron **See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop000304)

Myron, Perhaps you could get a hoyer lift to help you with your wife's care. That is what the girls do to get me up. Being a caregiver is a tuff job, I am sure you get tired. We just don't realize how hard it can be at times. In the long run your wife knows how hard it can be as the patient. Lindaf

Good question Dana. Also would this place be for individuals or family members as well. How about aging seniors and developmental disabled. Would this place accept those in Atlanta only or the State of Georgia? How about those from other states and their families? How about those without funds or money?
