I can relate, I'm back and forth turning on my electric blanket and then turning on my overhead fan. I would be miserable without both. My dog doesn't know what to think. Seems to be effective though. My issue is not being too cold, but overheated, my arms just think they are freezing. Like shivering cold, but once I uncover my arms, I feel better. So I swear I am freezing, I'd bet everything I am, it feels so cold. But once I uncover my arms I'm ok. But... If I start with my arms uncovered I really feel cold, until I cover up for a few hours. Have you tried wearing thick long socks to keep your feet warm. Are feet have alot of nerve endings and if they're cold your body may feel cold. Don't know if you touch alcohol, but a glass of red wine seems to reset my internal temperature gauge. Of course, alcohol and certain medications are not a good combination, so be careful there. Your situation, as described, seems to be more neurological than environmental. In my opinion, it's not a matter of blankets and air temperature, but more likely related to Autonomic Dysreflexia, inappropriate vasodialation, poor blood circulation or something affecting your hypothalamus.
