Thanks Joe. You can email Mark Smith-Quantum Manager at Pride Mobility for a direct answer at: _msmith@pridemobility_ (mailto:msmith@pridemobility) . Mark was born with CP and is a Quantum Chair Owner himself. Let us all know. Have you had any direct feed back from the major spinal hospitals like Shepard, Kessler, RIC (chicago) or Craig ? Will CMS fund such an item? Is it coded for CMS? Looking Forward. Best Wishes In a message dated 1/21/2014 8:10:48 P.M. Thanks Ron. So you know what I've referring to. Now I've also seen modified "T" handles made of 1/2 inch pvc. They looked similar to a football goal post. But those were engineered "in-house" at rehab hospitals with their own Assistive Technology Centers and Certified Techs. Best Wishes In a message dated 1/21/2014 2:45:44 P.M. It is about as high risk as any other joystick handle. They are considered an FDA class 1 medical device and require no prior market authorization.
