Also, note that I get exactly the same problems using the Sound Effects
application for the alarms. I use the Natural Sounds ('Waves'
specifically) as my alarm and I get all the symptoms mentioned above
regarding the alarm turning itself off etc.

I had originally posted that I was having an issue with selecting Alarm Off and having the alarm turn back on after one minute. I know this thread is about the Snooze feature, but is the consensus that these two bugs are related? I see a lot of posts about Snooze, but not so many about Alarm Off. this morning I snoozed my alarm 3 times...and all 3 times I got the alarm fading back in a minute later. I think before it was only on the first snooze, but its possible I was only snoozing it once before turning it off later. I am having the same issue with the snooze only working for one minute. I just purchased the radio last week after having a Boom for four trouble free months. I was amazed at how apathetic the customer service agent was when I told him of the problem. The one I talked to yesterday did not mention it was a known issue. The agent today said it was a known issue and that if I wanted to continue to use it as an alarm, I should send it back to the store I received it from. I asked if they could send me a new one, but he just said a new one may or may not have the same problem. Some of them work and some of them don't. I guess I'm just really surprised at how they really don't care to keep me as a customer. More importantly, how difficult can it be to make an alarm function properly? It should be noted that this problem is occurring when using a Pandora station as my alarm. I have changed my alarm to a Slacker station and will let you know if the problem still occurs. I'm getting this one minute later alarm thing as well -- only it happens to me when I choose to turn the Alarm Off instead of snooze. Mickey, I own a 2 squeezebox radios, 1 squeezebox touch and I use ipeng on my ipod touch and squeezebox commander on my droid. I checked all the players and none of them had any alarms on. I deleted my alarm yesterday and created a new one, but the same problem occured this morning. My problem appears slightly different from the other post, because if I choose turn off alarm instead of snooze the alarm will turn off and stay off, but I haven't tried just hitting turn off alarm without at least hitting the snooze one time. If you let it play for a minute and let it fade and then let it come back the behavior from that point on is proper. It's the one minute mark that should provide the clue to what the bug is. On the positive side, I installed the battery yesterday and taking the radio into the basement and garage and patio has been a pleasure today. The random on/off problems are gone with the 9009 firmware version. [SlimDevices: Radio] Snooze not working correctly on Radio
The snooze on my squeezebox radio is not working correctly. I use mysqueezebox.com and don't run a local squeezebox server. I have the alarm set for Monday through Friday with the snooze set to 10 mins. The alarm comes on at the correct time and than I hit the snooze. Instead of waiting 10 minutes the alarm comes back on in only 1 minute, then I hit the snooze again and the alarm waits 10 minutes, but if I hit snooze again it will do the something. I basically have to hit the snooze button twice to get 10 minutes of snooze time. Anyone else experiencing any issues. The only day in the last few months that it's worked correctly was the first day after the most recent update. I just deleted the alarm and added a new one, so I'll see if that fixes anything. thunder3dan: Sounds like a bug to me. I don't know what's going on, but could you try some things to help diagnose the issue? Do you have other Squeezeboxes? If so, can you verify that the alarms for those players are: 1. Off 2. If On, verify that the alarm time, sound, etc. are set properly? 3. For alarms that are on, change those that have snooze time set to 1 minute to some other time, like 5 or 10 minutes? Please post back your results here. Thanks!
