Well, there *may* be such a thing as too many Squeezeboxes. I have them
crawling all over the place. But, I'm an extreme case.

Sounds like you just need a bigger office.

Now how can that be. One can't have too many until one needs to add
rooms to the house for them and then one doesn't again have too many.

Caleb, do you have more then two in your garage? If not, then you're
not even close to having too many yet!

I even have three in one room. An SB3 in the Master Bedroom in the
Audio Rack with the surround sound AVR for the wall mounted LCD TV. A
Boom on my night table and an SB Radio on her night table. Of course the
Boom and the Radio switch off as to which one ends up in the Master Bath
every morning.

My better half probably thinks my definition of too many Squeezeboxes
is if there is more then a Transporter, Boom, and SB Radio in every room
of the house! Of course I might be in luck since the SB Radio has come
out and she really gets the Squeezebox thing now. Maybe there is hope
for a TP for every room as she said if I really had to have one for the
Beach House, I could buy another Transporter. This never would have
happened before the SB Radio or would have taken much longer.

portable. I look forward to taking it outside with me when I'm shooting
hoops in the driveway. Similarly, I see it as a great way to provide
ambiance when we are having a barbecue in the backyard. :)

I'm not sure where to put it.

I'm using a Boom at the bedside and it looks and sounds great.

I'm using a Boom in my office with a subwoofer. Similarly it looks and
 sounds great.

I'm using a Duet in the living room and that works well of course with
 the sound system.

I guess I could get one for the guest bedroom but it would hardly be
 used.

I'm also hesitant because version 7.4 of the software seems to be
causing some minor problems on a new, dedicated server computer. I'm
aware that the problems will likely be fixed in later releases.

However, my desire for new tech is driving me hard to get a radio.

Likely I'll replace the receiver component of the Duet in the LR with a
Touch when it comes out anyway.

If its a new gadget Jones'ing that is drawing you to SB Radio, those
are really poor excuses!

The beauty of SB Radio is that it can go just about anywhere (other
then in a current stereo system). Spare bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen,
Driveway to shoot some hoops or change the oil, other nightstand in same
bedroom with Boom, Poolside, Back Deck, Workshop, Home Gym, Home Office,
behind the Bar, the list is just about endless.

Of course my Motto is: There is no such thing as to much Sex, to much
Money, or to many Squeezeboxes!
