Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Squeezebox switches off
Radio Settings Sleep Sure the Radio isn't disconnecting from your network or it's server (LMS or MySB.com)? This will also give you the same Standby screen. toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102778 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

It's not going into stand-by. It's switching off. Screen is black., No date and time display. So i cannot access it anymore from any remote until i switch it on again. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Squeezebox switches off
Can you describe more about the switching off behavior? When you turn it back on, does it come on immediately, or does it go through a re-boot (the logitech splash screen and such?). Does the Radio have a battery? I've had issues with mine not connecting well with the power cord - if this is the case, and it's using the battery, it will automatically turn off after a period of time (if it's not playing). If that's the case, you should be able to tell from the charging icon if it's operating on battery, or it's charging. If it doesn't show charging (animated battery icon), or charged (full battery with lightening bolt), then try wiggling the power connector to see if it starts charging. tcutting's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17402 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102778 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Yes, when i switch it back on it shows the Free Your Music and Logitech logo. Yes, the radio has a battery (actually it's a UE upgraded to Squeezebox). No battery icon during normal operation. I will monitor to see how long it shows the Date/Time screen before it shuts down completely. If you turn on, and use the built-in menus there should be a battery icon at lower right part of the screen. If it's fully charged an plugged in, it should show the battery with a plug in the middle. If it shows a partially filled battery with no animation, then it's not properly plugged in. Ok, there is an animated icon there. Now it's not switching off anymore. So i guess i had a power issue before. Well, at least i am glad it's not the radio, just the power.
