[RBW] FS: Tires: Teravail Cumberland 29x2.6 - Light & Supple - Brand New

2020-02-05 Thread j.schwartz
Perfect new shoes for your upcoming Wolbis.
I bought these brand new last week in the hopes of maxing out my new Clem
L...and they are just a bit too big.
I'd heard of other users successfully running 29x2.6 tires on their new
Clems, but the clearance is too tight for me.
These are brand new , mounted once tonight. Not ridden at all.
Selling for $35 ea ...but as a pair, so $70. shipping included
I can post real pics tomorrow of the tires mounted
thank you

Get outta town! Awesome! (And remind me never to play poker with you!)

Now if Rivendell would only run this as an ad during the Super Bowl, all
its problems would disappear!

Great soundtrack, too.

You do know, not that there was any doubt, that even kiddingly
contemplating buying it back puts you irrevocably in the "Bicycle Obsessed"
category? (I have not only contemplated doing this, but actually done it.
We'll see.)

[RBW] Raid Bill's Stable: Nine bikes available For Sale

2020-02-05 Thread Bill Lindsay
My stable is stocked with a whole bunch of sensational builds. Executing
sensational builds is maybe my favorite bicycle related activity. I've got
another build (or two) on the horizon that I want to do, and I'm able to
do, but I just don't have the space to put them once the builds are done.
These builds have a fair bit of overlap and redundancy. I love them all,
but none of them is entirely indispensable. So, just in case somebody
wants a slightly used spectacular build for less money and less waiting
than a brand new one, then here's a pizza menu for them. Rather than make
this a hugely long post with descriptions of each, I'll be super brief and
list what it would cost to relieve me of any of these great bikes. All of
them fit me perfectly for the application for which they were built, and
I'm 5'10" with a 75.5cm saddle height.

1. Turnkey 57cm Legolas Cyclocross Racing bike: $4250
2. 59cm Roadeo complete: $3500
3. Turnkey loaded touring build of a 56cm canti-Sam Hillborne (with single
TT): $3000
4. Monster-commuter, or Swiss-Army-Knife drop-bar, 56cm 650B MIT Atlantis:
$2600
5. XC Racing carbon hardtail Niner Air9 mountain bike: $4500
6. Deluxe derailer-less two-speed custom Gunnar Crosshairs: $1600
7. Vintage Rossin 650B conversion road bike: $1000
8. Turnkey Eroica 1985 60cm Univega Gran Premio: $500
9. Rosco-Bubbe Road (blue lift-a-tube) complete: $950
10. Niner RLT9 650B Road Plus: $2600

If anybody has any interest in one or more of the above, please let me
know.

[RBW] Re: FS: 60cm Cheviot complete, Crust Towel Rack build

2020-02-05 Thread Gabriel Bruguier

The Cheviot frameset has been sold.

I'm going to hang on to the remaining parts for the time being.

[RBW] Re: 69 cm A Homer Hilsen for $1100 on eBay (not mine)

2020-02-05 Thread Reid Echols
Well now I’m curious. I’ll have to check the serial number, but what indicates
a Toyo/Waterford frame in that regard?

Not that I’m overly concerned; it’s a wonderful bike and bargain wherever it
came from!

2020-02-05 Thread Joe Bernard
David, my recollection - which is hazy at best - is the original Toyo Homers
came with two sets of bottle bosses, then Waterford added a third.

It certainly does look much better in your pictures. I am glad I take a
chance on it *hoping* it was a 67cm.

[RBW] WTB: White Industries ENO Eccentric

2020-02-05 Thread Ken Yokanovich
Thinking of building an upcoming Appaloosa into another single speed. Looking
for 135mm silver eccentric rear hub. Ideally 32 hole. Not too interested in a
whole wheel to save on shipping costs.

If you’ve got a spare, shoot me an offer.
