Longer bolt with a nut on the other side. A Nyloc may be too thick. In fact a regular nut may contact the cogs. I just file the nut and bolt until it clears. You'll end up with a de facto sheer stop nut. Phil Brown Nice today in Oakland, Calif. Velo Orange racks and fenders, Riv economy wheels, Paris Moto tires, Nitto bars and stem, Deore FD and RD, Tekro brakes, Mafac levers, etc. You can have a choice of saddles from my selection including Brooks, Tom Ritchey. Specialized, Avocet and probably some more. I'd like to keep the pedals-XC Pro with Suberbe cages-but as always cash talks. $1750. Offers welcome but I reserve the right to laugh at low ball offers. I live about 6 blocks west of you in Temescal and I NEVER leave my bike anywhere out of my sight. Period. Theft in the area is oppurtunistic, not highly organized. But it very definately exists. There's a bike shop on Telegraph that serves as a fence for stolen bikes and he's always got lots of bikes. Sadly Oakland is the crime capitol of the East Bay due in large part to the inaction of the police. They will not even take a report on stolen property. Berkeley, just to the north, is a completely different story. Go figure. Phil Brown -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. There are lots of options to go over the hill to Hollywood and vice versa. On the Valley side there is a great fire road-dirt but hard pack-from Laurel Canyon to the top of the ridge at Mulholland and Coldwater. There is also a trail called White Fence that gets you there from Studio City about half way up the fire road. At the top of the ridge you dip down to Beverly Hills and then loop around Benedict. In the old days-80s-There was a great fire road from the bottom of the canyon to the top of Coldwater-ruined by development-and a terrific playground to the west on the old golf course now taken up with multi million dollar homes.
