RE: mangled display on RH8.0
replace the LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 by LANG=fr_FR in /etc/sysconfig/i18n then reboot (maybe restarting X could be enough, i don't be sure) use Luxi Mono font for terminal once choosen, ask the terminal to save its current configuration since that everything displays fine hth A 13:42 12/03/2003 -, vous avez écrit : >I've got the same problem with a terminal, in both Gnome and KDE. RE: mangled display on RH8.0
I've got the same problem with a terminal, in both Gnome and KDE. With Gnome it is strange letters appearing in the man pages and in KDE the spacing is completely screwed. I try changing the font, and thatr works for the session I'm on, but if I log out and log in again, I lose the settings and have to reset the fonts. It's driving me crazy!
