[Repeater-Builder] WTB: Need manual for old Moto

2009-03-12 Thread Dennis Bridgeman
Hi, all,

I am restoring an old Moto L43GGB desktop base. (OK, stop laughing.) So, I
would like to find a manual, if someone has one collecting dust in an old box
and would wish to sell it. Contact me direct at (my call) (at) verizon (dot)
net. Thanks

  Hello All,

I have come into a few Midland UHF power amplifiers. On the PA's, it's
labeled as a model number 71-5400B, 120 watts out, and freq range of
450-470. Does anyone know the drive requirements for this PA? I've
looked through the RB web site as well as Midlands web site and have
  found nothing.

When I Google the amp the only info that comes up is a few Ebay auctions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thanks!!

  Hi Dan,

Unfortunately, Your "attachments" are not "stored" by the groups e-mail
system. I believe You would first have to "Post" them to a folder . Then
everyone could "Take-a Peek".I'm "sorta new round these parts" so
I'm not quite sure if this is something you could do, or if it has to be
handled through one of the moderators..BUT...You could e-mail them
"direct" to me at the E-Mail listed

Would be most interested in taking a look at the info.Like you said,
Maybe it could be put in the "files" section

2008-02-02 Thread Dennis Bridgeman
Trevor,
The radio is a 70-9020 and has the same pinout as the Midland XTR 8-channel
radios. I have the pinouts on my website. Click on the "Midland Wiring
Diagrams" tab. Under the "SynTech I and XTR models" section, click on the XTR
(8-channel models) wiring diagram. It will have what you need.

Contact me with any questions.

Can you verify the auction number? I don't get anything to come up. Whatever
it is, at this price, I may want to get 2 or 3 of them!

I, also, bought from him. First and last time! I bought 7 Midland mobiles,
with a few other odd pieces, which he just threw into a cardboard box. Of the
7 radios, 4 were physically damaged from shipping.

I've bought from that guy before. Nice guy, but he would mail eggs in
an envelope! Luckily I bought Mitreks from him which are rectangular
and hard to break. The postperson dropped the unpadded cardboard box
on my concrete front porch before I could get to the door, maybe
that's where that crack same from.

Have you checked it with an analyzer or what the SWR is at your
frequency of interest? I have a ASPB602 and it IS broad as a barn.

Hi, everyone,

I have been following this thread and maybe someone out there can help me out.
I have what appears to be the same thing in storage here. I am fairly certain
mine is the 4-bay ASP602, but I have been trying to find information to help
identify the freq band for it. I have been trying to find measurement
references, but with no luck. Also, on each of the mounts, there is the number
"4" stamped. Is there anyone that might have some info to help solve my
dilemma? I would be happy to provide measurements.

Jim,
A few months back, I bought a big bag of crimp BNCs for RG58. They arrived
without the pins. I think these sleeves should work for you, since specs show
both cables are 3/16 inch diameter.

Maybe someone out there can verify this, but if you think will they will work,
let me know how many you need. If you have a good supply, I will trade you all
the sleeves you need for a few complete connectors, in return.
