Re: [Repeater-Builder] Build Micor Channel element?
I have had ICM do all of my crystals with no problem at all. 6-8 pairs for races, 3 for the local club and 2 pair for myself. but those were all Motorola elements and not GE. but to be on frequency from day 1 to the end .. Re: [Repeater-Builder] FCC Enforcment
There are some pretty good toys out there for transmitter locating . Doppler Systems makes a special version of there famous Doppler, which has a roof pod and all the pre laid spots for connecting the different length antennas, a magnetic compass, ands a GPS antenna, there is an interface box where it all comes together and hooks to a laptop where you run mapping software, and .it takes you right there. I have used this setup a couple of times in the past and i loved it . The FCC's latest toys are even better. The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Re: [Repeater-Builder] Motorola MTR-2000 UHF Repeater
Not the MTR 200 but the MTR 2000's Yes we have, we have 7 of them on a on a voting system, and also use a zetron console to control the system, it works very well. The VHF models preform very well also. If you need to know something very technical I will consult the head tech who keeps it operational. .bob kd6gnb On Mon, 19 Jan 2004 19:00:23 - boterea [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Has anyone setup a Motorola MTR200 UHF Repeater for Ham Radio 70cm band? Re: [Repeater-Builder] Ritron Repeater Plus???
no local speaker, the phone line in is for the repeater auto patch * to activate, # to hang up, and out for a local telephone to be connected to use while your at the location, these are crystal radios 1for transmit and 1for receive, tuning the simple 2 can internal duplexer should be simple but i only saw the ritron manual once and they made it in to something difficult. (reminds me of a glorified roll of toilet paper) if it is in a high rf area you will need something better for isolation and then there are the command codes for the built in controller, you need to know the prefix code to access the controller then a command sheet telling you what the commands are. and the cw ider default says hello in code this a is factory burned prom so you will need to contact ritron On Wed, 14 Jan 2004 20:58:19 -0800 (PST) tom edelman [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: I have a few questions about a ritron repeater plus, keep in mind i have very little experience working with repeaters, i have messed around with a R-100 a little thats all, I am wanting to build a small radio network with this unit and the r-100 and some other portable and Mobil radios. Is there a place to hook up a local speaker? what is the two phone jacks for, one is phone line in, the other is remote control phone.. what are these for??? how do you change the freq?? i guarantee there will be more questions to follow! - Do you Yahoo!?
