Or on second thoughts, the 'unsubscribe' might have to go in the main email

Hi all

I reckon everyone should get together and start to support the SAM even
though they finished 10 years ago, retro gaming is becoming a big thing and
with emulation any one can write for any machine using their PC.

I've decided to switch my attention to writing for the SAM for a while and i
may even get a web-site up and running but i will let you all know when i
do.

Has anyone got a copy of 'FLASH' in SAD format as my copy has become corrupt
considering it is 10 years old, if so can you e-mail it to me or tell me
where i can find it .

Keep me informed if anyone has ideas of old games they would like to see as
im always looking for ideas.

Thanks

Thanks for the explanation Nev. Feeling everso slightly guilty about my

Nah... not in the pages of Format, anyway. The only clue I can find is in
the editorial of the final issue (dated October 1998, but not received till
months later):

"I'm sorry the technical hotline has been out of action for most of the last
month. I've been missing from the office due to personal illness - a virus
which caused swelling of the cartilage joining my ribs together, this made
breathing difficult and talking even worse [...] While I am still suffering
a bit, and some of the drugs are leaving me very tired, I am back to the
grindstone now [...]"

That'd certainly explain why he's been out of action (except for posting
sillyness on newsgroups) since then, but of course knowing Bob there's
always the distinct possibility that it's a complete load of nonsense...

He never vanished, he just went quiet on us. He's probably reading this

loads of nice hardware... and *masses* of software too!

Yeap, I do repairs! Over the last few months I've done a few -
a one meg interface, mouse interface, video circuitry in a Sam, built a couple
256k upgrades, as well as a handful of disk drive systems which is a new
product I produce. (see webbie for details of them).

There's a lot of info on my website about all my new stuff - and
i've still a lot to upload (which i aim to finally get round to sometime
this week - new gfx are all done... just got to type up a lot of text!)

Everything I do for the Sam is covered in the information pack I send out

it out.

There's been nothing since then, of course - if you do a search for "R
