**· **Analysis and Solution Definition

**· **Provides subject matter expertise regarding the business
area’s issues, data challenges, process, policy and general needs required
to operate current and future business. 

**· **Understands the current technology applications used to
support assigned Business Area or function.  Understands how current
systems store data and apply business rules to support the business. 

**· **Provides data analysis and reporting using reporting
applications (MS Access, Crystal Reports or Data Warehouse reporting
applications) to support project requirements and analysis of data. 

**· **Understands and identifies cross functional business area
impacts and coordinates across business units to ensure issues and
requirements are thoroughly defined.

**· **Identifies business area’s strengths and weaknesses and
suggests areas of improvement.

**· **Documents, reviews and edits business requirements, business
rules, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to
proposed solution.

**· **Evaluates vendor application solutions when appropriate to
ensure current and future business needs are met.

**· **Works jointly with technical resources to create and review
functional and technical design documents to meet business needs.

**· **Coordinates peer review of documentation and design when
applicable to ensure the design meets the business needs.

**· **Project Execution

**· **Participates as an active member of project teams or work
groups to provide business analysis and subject matter expertise for
proposed solutions.

**· **Completes assigned project tasks according to project
schedules.  Proactively identifies issues related to the quality,
timeliness or budget of the project and communicates solutions to Business
Unit Owner or Project Manager.

**· **Accountable to the Business Unit Owner and/or IT Leader and
responsible for overall quality delivery of a solution that meets business
needs.

**· **Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.

**· **Documents and delivers training to other business area staff
when appropriate.

**· **Follows the client project Management Methodology (PMM) and
completes required templates for project documentation.

** **

**· **Testing

**· **Participates in the definition of test strategy including
unit, acceptance, parallel and regression cycles.

**· **Defines test conditions and test cases.

**· **Documents Use Cases.

**· **Defines acceptance criteria for solution acceptance.

**· **Defines and coordinates data requirements for testing and
refresh schedules with IT Operations Staff.

**· **Thoroughly conducts testing according to defined plan.  Acts
as primary business resource tester for assigned testing phases.

**· **Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends
solutions.

**· **Documents test case results and provides summary of results
to Business Unit Owner and/or Project Manager.

**· **Defines regression test plans and schedules to ensure quality
of final versions of software.

**· **Reviews test plans and results with Quality Assurance and
Audit resources when applicable to ensure quality of test outcome.

** **

**· **Ongoing Operational Support

**· **Provides ongoing support to other Business Area staff
regarding training, documentation and resolution of issues, and analysis of
data.

**· **Researches issues and recommends workarounds/proposed
solutions to ensure quality of system performance.

**· **Provides ongoing data analysis and reports to Business Unit
Owner regarding quality, performance and data integrity.

**· **Researches future business project needs and works with
Project Manager and/or Vendors to assess and implement defect corrections,
and enhancements to meet the changing needs of the organization.

**· **Monitors ongoing data integrity of the system.

*Summary:*

Conduct senior-level business process analyses, needs assessments, and
preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology
solutions with business delivery initiatives in the Finance business
process domain, focusing on Oracle EBS with a concentration in HR modules.**
**

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

**· **Serve as a liaison between the Finance function and IT to
provide technical and business solutions that meet user needs.

**· **Provide support for Oracle HR, I-Expense and Markview
workflow.

**· **Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope
and objectives through research as well as an understanding of the
applicable business systems and industry requirements.

**· **Translate high-level business requirements to functional
specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.

**· **Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating
communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements
to final implementation.

**· **Analyze and understand Finance/Accounting strengths and
weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and
functions.

**· **Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) they are
supporting, understand IT systems and capabilities, help educate IT on the
direction of the business, and has a good understanding of technology
trends in order to develop solutions for the finance and accounting teams
that enhance the competitive edge of the enterprise.

**· **As applicable, may lead small to medium, low-complexity
projects.

**· **Create business requirements and other documents in support
of projects.

**· **Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and

**· **Analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems.

**· **Lead process configuration design activities.

**· **Collaborates with functional design and assist teams in

*Education:*

**· **Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience

*Experience:*

**· **3 - 5 years implementing and supporting Oracle EBS with a
concentration in HR.

*Skills:* Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and
theories in accounting and finance disciplines, and broad knowledge of
principles and concepts of other functions. Has developed extensive
business knowledge and keeps current on industry trends. Able to lead
medium to large projects. Support projects and lead sub-teams in support
of projects. Recognized as a subject matter expert. Ability to communicate
effectively in both written and verbal mediums. Strong documentation
skills.
