before a computerized judge.  The judge tells Fry he's going to deliberate on
 a

It was great! The other was a DC comics miniseries in which the members of
 the
Golden Age Justice Society were given tech and knowledge of the future by a
bad guy.  (I think it was Vandal Savage).  The JSA was appalled at seeing our
sinful modern world of porno theatres and racy TV.  At any rate, they were
given an Apple laptop computer, which one of the members dubbed something
corny like the fluroscopic observatron or something. As the JSA members
 were
looking at the computer, the cherry bomb icon appeared. Thinking it was a
trap, Dr. Fate destroys the computer before it can explode!  I laughed my
a$$ off at that one too.

YIKES

Remind me to keep Fate away from my Macs. :D

This animation kind of trivializes current human conflicts, doesn't
it? I mean, here we are fighting over who gets to use a LIMITED and
DWINDLING energy resource. You'd think that countries would fight
over valuable technology for RENEWABLE energy resources, not
dwindling resources. We humans just aren't as smart as we think that
we are.

I am not one who believes in the rapture, but this giant meteor
impact does = system reboot = CTRL + ALT + DEL. (Y'all with Macs
probably don't know what I mean. Heh-heh)

The mac version of this switch off comp, switch back on comp (reboots itself
automaticly). But yeah I get what you mean. Sorta reminds me of that
Outer Limits episode where the first man who discovered cold fusion uses it to
make a bomb to blackmail folks.

Maybe we will blow ourselves up before we reach the stars.
