Re: Cs>Off Topic/Head
Hi guys, This is certainly off topic, sorry. I don't know who else to ask. Even though it seems silly, please no jokes. What would cause a child's head to be large? This boy was a premature birth and has just turned 3. His head is almost the size of an adults. Now, he is a big stocky boy but the first thing people notice is his head size. He doesn't seem to have any other physical ailments, should this be a concern? Has anyone ever seen this before? Re: CS>new person questions
Hi Minerva, Just a personal opinion.I started out using my own homemade CS (3 9V batteries, silver wires, etc) I noticed that I didn't seem to see consistant results. Being too brain fogged to figure out any of our "techie" posts, I started buying CS. It seemed to me that I noticed less ebb and flow of my Lyme symptoms on it, and instead got steadily better. However, there are others on the list, who have cured themselves of Lyme using the 9V battery method. I think this, like everything else with Lyme, seems to depend on the person in question. Perhaps some have better immune systems already, or maybe the Lyme isn't as entrenched. Not sure. The CS I bought was WaterOZ. You can get 4 gallons for $124 bucks. I started out with 1/4 cup twice a day, and got a really really bad herx when I jumped to 1/2 cup twice a day, which scared me, and I ended up back on antiobiotics. So you can start out with a couple tablespoons a couple times a day, and build up. It's all pretty subjective to your own body. (Marsha says, "a goodly swallow several times a day", that seems to be a pretty good start!) Hope that helps Sparrow, Fellow Lymie. HI. I am conidering using CS to treat my Lyme instead of the more traditional doxy. I am also on various Rx for candida. One reason for my probable change is the cost of all of these meds. Q.. Is the store bought version better than the homemade type? Q..Is there a better store version? Q..What is the dosage for lyme... Re: CS>HV AC/DC Tech Questions
Jeff; Stay away from the 380 vdc. I was the one that mentioned it. It was used last year during my early studies in making CS. I had an S.E.M. made of one of my runs at a Texas univ. and the photos of the particles showed brickbats. Actually the particle size was 18 to 80 nm. (which is huge). Now it is interesting in that I have saved samples of much of my work and I find now almost a year later the Tyndall is very weak and the PPM has increased greatly. This is not a one time fluke as I have gone back and rechecked other sample made by parameters and find the same. I my many years in manufacturing engineering in the electron device field I have learned not to argue with success, but some factor has caused the particles to dis-agglomerate Lvdc (28-36v) makes excellent CS, if you use continually stirring and polarity switching solves the cathode treeing and reduces the sludge. Memory tells me that Fred said to use demineralized water, but when I have tried it the CS is always milky in color. That does not happen with DW. If you are not properly trained in high voltage then stay away from it. It can kill or burn your house down. (during my nine year in Centrally America I ran an electrical utility, and I know high voltage hazards.) The first time you draw an two foot arc with that 20 Kv it will scare the "hell" out of you. I plan on one more entry in this is then I must check out to get ready for the coming disasters. "Ole Bob" > > > > > -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Re: CS>FAQ needs you!!!
OK Katerina - here's one: Maureen and I have two dogs and eighteen months ago one, Chips, normally a very happy and playful character in spite of his then approximate 11 year age, began to get very upset, got into very bad moods and started to growl and snap at anyone who touched him. The problem seemed to be mainly with his back and we eventually asked the vet to Xray it. The result was that the dog was suffering from spondylitis - an irreversible condition where the disks between the vertebrae become damaged and spurs of bone grow across the vertebrae and obviously causing the dog considerable discomfort. Veterinary treatment was to put him on a pain-killing drug with the instructions that if he coughed up blood, was sick or stopped eating then to contact the vet again. This treatment was continued for four months with no apparent success (and fortunately no obvious adverse effects) when Maureen read a reference that spondylitis was caused by bacteria so she put Chips on a tablespoon of CS a day in his evening meal. Three weeks later as he seemed to be improving she reduced the drug treatment by one half and three weeks after that took him off the drug completely. Three months later we took him to the vet for an annual check-up and the vet commented that Chips no longer growled at him even when his back was felt and that he was looking fine and in fit condition. Maureen told him that he hadn't been on the drug for three months but had been having CS instead which information appeared to mean absolutely nothing to the vet. It is now another three months later, we continue the CS, the dog is in very good form, has lost the stiffness in his back and is fit and agile again. Instead of Sinus infections: Jane put CS in a pump nasal spray bottle, preferably a glass one as found in health food stores for other nasal preparations. Jane initially used Innovative Natural Products Extra Strength Colloidal silver, which is rated at 500ppm but is probably much lower. She sprayed this into her nostrils as often as she felt like during the day. Sometimes she would hang her head upside down after spraying to let the CS get into her frontal sinuses. She also took the same CS and held a dropperful on her tongue against the roof of her mouth until she could feel her sinuses beginning to tingle. She would then swallow or spit out that mouthful, depending on if she felt she had had enough cs in her system and didn't want more. She would repeat the process until she really felt her sinuses draining. Her sinus infection went away in 38 hrs. She later found that putting a few drops in her eyes helped in getting it into her sinuses. Two drops in each ear (not more or ears got clogged) also helped with the stuffiness in her ears. CS>HV AC/DC Tech Questions
Hi folks, My name is Jeff. I believe I've posted only once or twice before and I very much appreciate the helpful replies. I've been down flat with Lyme Disease lately so have been mostly reading the mail. I have a few questions pertaining to CS generating that I would appreciate your opinions on. I'm planning to use HVAC at 20KV for my generator. My understanding is that the typical setup consists of one electrode in the water and the other slightly above the water by some dimension. The electrode that is not in contact with the water, is it parallel to the water or is it vertical with the gap between it's end and the water? How large a volume of water is most practical with this type of setup? I noticed the use of higher voltages in DC setups...I believe approximately 380V. Can you tell me the advantage of the higher voltage? I assume both electrodes are submerged? Would there be more of an advantage in using even higher DC voltages, say 1kv or more? Thank you for assistance. May God Bless you all! Respectfully, Jeff Madore K1LE - CT -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. I think this is not strictly true. Some silver will remain as ions, but many ions will be attracted to each other under the influence of Van Der Waals force and will aggrigate into larger charged particles. > Sure, if you use a back yard battery project, you may be making silver > crystals! CS>Meters - Your need to know!
This "meter discussion" is getting a little wild! I waited 24 hours, to cool down, so here is my "calm" reply! You have a need to meter "to know what the hell you are drinking"! Slamming anything but a back yard modified multimeter (which the "educated" admit means almost nothing to them) is not a lucid discussion or of any benefit to anyone! And since when did science become unable to measure the PPM of colloidal silver - did the presence of ions, dissolved solids, etc. cease effecting conductivity? To be technical, PPM is a stupid measure of "PPM by weight", and why so many false claims are not false - it is a measure by weight! Drop a dime in your jar and you got 50PPM, no battery, no wires no magic - parts by weight! That is why it is important to measure TDS (total dissolved solids) - now, don't try to tell me an ion of silver is not a solid (not dissolved, but certainly a solid and effects the conductivity)! By the way, lets get one thing clear - most of you are not making a colloid of silver! Use lousy water and you make compounds of silver! These are dissolved, absolutely not a colloid!!! Yes, the Hanna TDS-1 and its knockoff are of small technical value! But, wouldn't it be nice to dip it in and see if your distilled water is really as bad as you can get and all you can make is large molecule silver compounds? We do remember that the smallest silver particle is the ion and if your water is pure it stays as a free ion in the water - the most reactive form of silver, the most bio-available and the most stable (like charges repel - they can not join together!). Sure, if you use a back yard battery project, you may be making silver crystals! It is very simple though, if the water is good and you got color, you got crystals! If the water is lousy, you get color and compounds of silver - no free ions (sob) and no crystals (great) but no potentency against most virus (oops)! That brings up the heated blasts of it "being a ripoff if it costs over $40". Well, may God be kind if your health has a value limit of $40! Some Facts: A TDS-1 meter (Hanna or knockoff) has a range of 0-999 PPM and an accuracy of +-2% or +-20PPM. Pretty useless to measure or certify 5PPM. They also need a correction for the microseimens/PPM conversion, as calibration is usually based on CACO3 with 2us/cm equal to 1PPM while colloidal silver uses 1.6us/cm equal to 1PPM. (An introduced error of 20%, but if all you make are silver compounds it will be pretty close)! A smarter choice is the pure water tester with a range of 0-99 us/cm (0-61PPM) or worse case error of +-2us/cm (1.2PPM). About $50 but sadly, that may be a ripoff to most ears out there! You are a great person because you give away gallons of your sludge?? Just who are you helping - your saving grace is that any form of silver has some benefits. If you wish to be technically correct and accurate you must buy the 4 ring potentiometric type for about $140, but then that is surely a "ripoff" because it is over $40. Damn the body, save the pennies! Pissed, Yes! What is the benefit of using a freely provided forum, designed to educate and help those interested in their health, if it becomes the soap box for hate! I checked the "Hanna knockoff" site and see nothing wrong and in fact if their claim of "temperature compensated" refers to the solution under test, they have the best bargain I have seen this month. I hope they go after anyone that tries to slander them! By the way, I have no relationship with Hanna or their "ripoff?", but I do sell a colloidal silver generator which is "my ripoff at $295", but it includes a built-in PPM meter (TDS) and other features no other units have! The funny thing is that many customers come back and buy more units - is that a double rippoff? Cordially, Fred Peschel -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. RE: CS>Sauerkraut
If there is mold on top, just scrape it off and eat the rest. It will do better if you press the cabbage firmly and let the juice fill the jar. You can use the same recipe but put the shredded cabbage in a large container, after the 3rd day it will make a sour juice that can be drained off and drank. BTY, home made kraut tastes much better than the store bought kraut. I suggest everyone give it a try at least once. Sprinkle it with AT LEAST 1/2 cup of salt. (If you skimp on the salt, your batch will spoil, so it's better to err on the side of generosity. Salt is a preservative and keeps the kraut from spoiling while it's fermenting.) Toss the two ingredients together until the cabbage is well salted. Press the salted cabbage into canning jars and put the lids on loosely so the gases can escape. Let it work at room temperature for about 10 days. That's all there is to it. Test by taste. Spread the word! Sauerkraut is REAL FOOD!! Liz

Re: CS>rose color cs
Deborah, Although I am new at experimenting with CS I have done weeks of studies reading and trying out just about every recommendation , on the internet, about how to make CS, there are over 300 sites and I lost track after 140 of them, but sorted through everything I printed out, read the articles a second and even a third time, highlighted the most *important* aspects and put it all in two notebooks for reference. I can tell you that the general consensus is that the color should be if not *clear* then a *light yellow* to *pale amber*. A few recommendations are for *white* CS, which always has added salt or baking soda. I have made and tasted all types. The *clear* and the *white* tastes like clean water, from *pale/light yellow* onwards it tastes a little bitter and has a mild sting to it, but it works and is palatable. It is claimed by many that the darker the color the bigger are the particles and the less accessible to the body-cells, and that makes sense when you consider that a particle that can't penetrate the cell walls is either useless or can even be harmful in large amounts/over long period of time. If the *amber* CS you are buying doesn't have a slightly bitter/metallic taste it could mean the product is mislabeled, is filtered or has an additive. I personnally would not feel comfortable with that. I probably should add that I do not make CS commercially and have no intent to do so. Since one of the most important points is that the particles carry a tiny electric charge in order to do the most good, but that this charge can be lost, or at least diminished over a very short period, or through exposure to light, heat, or cold temperatures, I believe that in order to be sure and have confidence in the goodness or effectiveness of a product, wherever possible I try to produce it for myself, and it's well worth it with even the most basic generator and good grade of pure silver wires or strips and the best distilled water you can find (it pays to read the labels), and also very important to be able to, sometime, be able to pick the brain of someone who's been there, done that, (like this forum).
