Simplicity is best.

On the other hand, dipping the cloth 'trodes in CS instead of plain water
might make it work faster?

Bromelain will definitely reduce swelling and bruising and speed healing
of injuries of this sort. I have used it many times.

I understand that for it to be effective, it should be taken with water
on an empty stomach. If there is food in the stomach it will be used
for digestion of the food and not be effective for inflammation, etc.

Thanks for the link Pat.

Bromelain is one of the few substances I have found that works as
advertised.

Surgical Procedures and Musculoskeletal Injuries

Bromelain also has therapeutic effects in the treatment of inflammation
and soft tissue injuries. An early clinical trial on bromelain was
conducted on 74 boxers with bruises on the face and haematomas of the
orbits, lips, ears, chest and arms. Bromelain was given four times a day
for 4 days or until all signs of bruising had disappeared. A control
group of 72 boxers were given a placebo. In 58 of the boxers taking
bromelain, all signs of bruising cleared completely in four days, with
the remaining 16 requiring 8-10 days for complete clearance. In the
control group, only 10 had complete clearance within four days, with the
remainder requiring seven to fourteen days for resolution.43

The edema-reducing property of bromelain was investigated in
traumatically-induced hindleg edema in rats. After enteral application
of bromelain a significant reduction of the edema could be observed,
however, parenteral application only resulted in a minimal therapeutic
effect. Although enterally-applied enzymes are thought to be degraded in
the gut, the better results were obtained after oral administration of
bromelain, supporting the observation that bromelain can be absorbed by
the gut without losing its biological properties.11

Fifty-five pre-surgical patients were divided into two groups. Group
one, consisting of 22 patients, took bromelain four times a day for
48-72 hours prior to surgery and continued for 72 hours after surgery.
Group two, consisting of 33 patients, took bromelain starting on the day
of surgery, with the first dose administered one hour prior to surgery.
Fifty percent of group one and 42.4% of group two had complete
disappearance of pain and inflammation within 72 hours. Pain and
inflammation persisted past 72 hours in only one member of the group
supplemented with bromelain for three days prior to surgery, as opposed
to five members of the group that started supplementation one hour prior
to surgery. In a separate study, supplementation of bromelain starting
48-72 hours prior to surgery reduced the average number of days for
complete disappearance of pain from 3.5 to 1.5, and disappearance of
inflammation from 6.9 to 2.0 days, as compared with controls receiving
no bromelain.44

Sixteen patients undergoing oral surgery were given bromelain four times
a day starting 72 hours prior to surgery. At 24 hours after surgery, 75%
of these patients were evaluated as having mild or no inflammation, in
contrast to only 19% of a group receiving a placebo. Twenty-four hours
after surgery, pain was either absent or mild in 38% of
bromelain-treated patients, as opposed to 13% receiving placebo. After
72 hours, this increased to 75% of those in the bromelain group, as
compared to only 38% in the placebo group.45

In an observation study involving 59 patients with blunt injuries to the
musculoskeletal system, the efficacy and tolerability of high-dose
bromelain, in addition to the usual therapeutic measures, was
investigated. Treatment with bromelain resulted in a clear reduction in
all four parameters tested; swelling, pain at rest and during movement,
and tenderness.46

with all of the posts and the wonderful information contained in them.
Now I'm 99 99.% sure that I have seen that there has

Re: CSThe Godzilla

2006-06-04 Thread Robert Berger
Hi V,

The output of a 555 timer running on 9 volts is about 5 volts switching from
+5 to zero.

This is adequate for zapper work. The difference between a 555 zapper and the
godzilla is very great. The godzilla is a continous voltage while the 555 timer
pulse is a square wave that is composed of a multitide of frequencies.

The zapper (555 timer) is more like a rife machine than it is like the
godzilla.

I would be very careful about going to a higher voltage. I have never seen
any work recommending high voltages.

When a root cannal reinfected in 2002 it almost destroyed my heart. The
output dropped to 20% that is class 4 or pine box level. Antibiotics has killed
the bacteria except for that which took up residence in my left knee.

Using Dr. Clark's protocol of 7min. on 20 min off repeated three times with
the electrodes below each knee eliminates the knee pain. However it seems to
return after 3 or 4 months. The next time it returns I will try the 6 vot DC
process and see if it does anything.

Re: CSFish Tanks and White Spot ?

2006-06-04 Thread M. G. Devour
Margaret asks:
Just tapping into your expertize : Can anyone advise on the use of
Colloidal Silver to treat 'White Spot ' ,( on fish ) in a home fish
 tank ?

It's good that you asked, Margaret. Please realize that when you add
any kind of medicinal to the tank, (including antibiotics) you're
treating not just the fish but the entire tank. That includes the
biological filter, which is the mass of helpful bacteria that populate
the gravel and the filter system and convert toxic fish wastes to more
benign chemicals.

If you dose the tank with an effective antimicrobial like CS, you'll
kill all those bacteria. This will dump all the metabolic by-products
and toxins from the guts of those bacteria into the water, as well as
interrupt the process of breaking down harmful ammonia and nitrites
from fish waste products and uneaten food.

You'll have a rapid build-up of wastes and toxins that could shock and
kill all the fish.

If you intend to treat the whole tank, about the only thing I can think
of to do is to be prepared with a large amount of properly conditioned
water (temperature, pH, alkalinity, etc...) and do a series of major
water changes while you are medicating the tank. You'd probably have to
adjust the dose levels to account for the amount being lost, as well.

Otherwise, you might transfer the ailing fish to a very simply equipped
quarantine tank and treat them there. The important thing is to be sure
the water is as close in chemistry and other conditions to the main
tank to minimize the shock to the subject fish. Also, you'll still have
to monitor waste build up and filter or change the water to limit it to
safe levels.

Any way you cut it, it's either a lot of work for you or a lot of
stress for the fish.

It's been some years since I had fish tanks going, and I'm *not* an
expert with using CS or anything else on fish. I just know that there's
more to consider than will CS kill ick?

If you need more information, please keep asking.

Be well,

Mike D.

Re: CSDeath by CS?

2006-06-04 Thread Brooks Bradley
 Dear Debbie,
It is possible to read almost anything on the Internetabout ANYTHING.
However, regarding Electrically Isolated Silver..there is, to our
knowledge, no officially recorded incident of a human being dying from
ingesting this form of colloidal silver. There have beento our
knowledgecases involving Silver Protein compounds which have been posted as
a principal or controlling factor in human beings. We have not been able to
substantiate the actual reliability of ANY of these claimsincluding those
indirectly endorsed by the FDA.
Additionally, posting a cause of death on a post-morteum document DOES
NOT (in all cases) prove to be the fact. The posted conclusions are, in many
cases, the best estimate of the coroner...not irrefutable fact.
It is not my intent to declare that no one has died as a direct result
of metallic silver particle ingestionfrom any cause. However, I do contend
in favor of the position that there does not presently exist (in any of the
sources examined by our staff) positive evidence of a single fatality from the
ingestion of EIS-type colloidal silver (non-compounded)...at ANY
concentration reported within the spectrum-of-uses reported (500 ppm is the
highest we have any direct familiarity with).
It is my singular opinion that such postings as the one which
precipitated your inquiry.will only increase in frequency, as the
mainstream patented-drug firms accelerate their efforts to impugn the splendid
non-toxic effects of pure colloidal silver.
There is, to our knowledge, no single, non-toxic, substance presently
extant which even approaches the efficacy of even the most primitive, homemade
colloidal silver -at least that has been our experimental research
experience during the immediately-past eleven years.
My apologies for this lengthy epistle..however, I claim your
indulgence based upon temporary uncontrollable rage, based upon the,
repeated, childishly ridiculous positions stated by personages fronting for the
FDA-Pharmaceutical combine.
Most people spreading these unfounded indictments,
in all probability, have never prosecuted a controlled study of
ANYTHING..much less one of medical import.

You can find a good explanation of mild silver protein and why not to
use it at

http://www.silver-colloids.com/Reports/reports.html
Scroll down to Mild Silver Protein.
Since Mild Silver Protein products contain some kind of suspension
agent, usually gelatin, I believe, and can actually be contaminated with
bacteria, they are particularly unsuited for IV use. I believe the site
below, natural-immunogenics makes an ionic silver product (that is only
available to physicians) for IV use. I could be wrong, and don't have
time to read their site to find out. Perhaps someone else on this list
will know about that.

You will also notice the silver-colloids site is not very enthusiastic
about ionic silver, so to get the other side of that argument, see

As to bromelain, this article is one I found and it says the blood
