CSFw: ACTION ALERT: Support Ron Paul's Health Freedom Protection Act, H.R. 2117
- Original Message - From: Citizens for Health To: p...@zoomnet.net Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2008 5:23 PM Subject: ACTION ALERT: Support Ron Paul's Health Freedom Protection Act, H.R. 2117 It is a New Year, and a new opportunity for Congress to stand up in support of our health freedoms! Urge Your Representative to Support H.R. 2117, The Health Freedom Protection Act! ACTION ALERT: WASHINGTON, January 9, 2008 - We are in the thick of an election year and many of the candidates for President are clamoring to offer health policies that simply maintain the status quo and enable the pharmaceutical industry to maintain its stranglehold on consumers. These same candidates would also allow the FDA to continue to shirk its duty to protect consumers from the often dangerous or lethal drugs big pharma is all too eager to push on the public. It is especially important at this time for our elected representatives to support policy and legislation that puts consumers in control of their own health decisions. That is why it is critical that you urge your Representative to co-sponsor Ron Paul's Health Freedom Protection Act, H.R. 2117. With your help we can surpass the level of support the bill enjoyed in the 109th session, and bring it to the floor for a vote. Click here to email your Congressperson to co-sponsor H.R. 2117! The FDA's approval process for informational labeling of food-based health claims has been so slow and uncertain that very little meaningful health information is making its way to food and dietary supplement consumers. Why does the FDA ban speech that can heal and save lives? Many dietary ingredients have therapeutic effects, yet telling the truth about those effects in the market can land you in jail. The Food and Drug Administration makes it next to impossible to assert any claim that a supplement or nutrient has the potential to positively affect a person's health. The Federal Trade Commission prosecutes parties who make advertising claims about the effects of foods and nutrients on the body. It does not limit those prosecutions to parties that actually deceive consumers. It also does not limit those prosecutions to products that fail to perform as advertised. In short, in this standardless environment, the FTC can exercise a great deal of discretion to determine what claims are deceptive and which ones are valid. No one in this country should be held by the government to be a deceptive advertiser unless the government proves that consumers have in fact been deceived. Click here to tell your Representative you want to make your own health choices! Ron Paul's Health Freedom Protection Act, a bill first introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2005, would end FDA and FTC censorship and give consumers access to truthful, non-misleading health information by making it easier for manufacturers of vitamins, supplements, and other foods to display health claims on product labels. H.R. 2117 was re-introduced in the House on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, but has not yet attained the level of support it enjoyed in the last Congressional session. That is why it is important to acknowledge those in Congress who, by co-sponsoring the Health Freedom Protection Act in this session, have cast their votes in support of consumers and our access to the information we need to make our own choices about our health. Citizens for Health applauds the following Representatives and their courage in standing up in support of our freedom to control our health decisions (the dates following their names indicate when they became a co-sponsor): Sponsor: Rep Paul, Ron [TX-14] Rep Bartlett, Roscoe G. This is your chance to let Congress know you will not sit back while our government works to keep important health information from consumers. Click here and urge your Representative to Support the Health Freedom Protection Act today! Now, as always, it is your action and your support which makes the success of our campaigns possible - we couldn't do it without you. Thanks for taking action! Hi Karen, Did your friend have any success in reducing the size? - Original Message - From: Karen Eck karen...@att.net To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 7:18 PM Subject: CSCancer - Sarcoma Does anyone have information on CS and cancer, specifically sarcoma? This one that my aunt has is called pleomorphic malignant histiocytoma. The tumor is now exposed and went from golf ball size under the skin, to 1/2 a large orange sitting on top of the skin after trying black salve - in two months it increased that much. She's taking a some tonics (for 10 days now) from http://sacredmedicinesanctuary.com modeled after Hoxsey and Eli Jones called Sundance and Algonquin. We have sprayed CS on it and CS with DMSO, but not consistently. She's also going to see about going ahead with surgery and radiation, but the holidays are really getting in the way of trying to get something done in that respect. So she's got 5 days to hit it with something and see if she can get some shrinkage of it. Thanks, Karen -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Be sure to check any supplements you are taking. I was taking selenium until I noticed that the Prosta Response I was taking had as much as I was wanting to take in it already, so I stopped the straight selenium. Marshall M. G. In the past I always had some colloidal silver around to use a little when starting a new batch, but I don't have any now. So last night I made a batch, I ran it for about 3 hrs. Will this batch be a little weaker because I didn't have any CS to start it with? Most likely you will need to let it go longer, or it will be weaker. My thinking is I can use this batch as a starter? Yes you can. Trying to get up to date on things. I see they have a whole lot of CS generators on the market now. I understand from what I have read lately is that the prefered voltage to use is 30 volts. A friend who I will be making some for as well, is an Electronics Tech. and has offered (no cost) to build me a new constant current CS generator. Constant current is the way to go. So my question is; at 30 volts what should the current (constant current) be?? Current should be about 1 mA per square inch of submerged anode. Starting voltage is irrelevent as long as you have sufficient voltage to generate the current you want in your setup. Voltage across the cell will simply be V = IR with I being the current, and R the resistance of the cell. Also using this generator, how long will the process take? Depends on the desired concentration, the current, and the volume of water. Use Fairday's equation to compute the amount of time. Is it less time with the higher volts? Voltage has nothing to do with it if using constant current, as long as you have sufficient voltage to get the current you want. If starting with good distilled water, then the start of the process can be sped up with higher voltages, since the current will be dependent on the voltage and below the constant current settings. This will not be true if using a starter and sufficient voltage is used to get the current you want from the beginning. Marshall I will be using distilled water, silver coins . pure, + aqu.pump in a 14oz glass ( but I would like to use a 48qz mason jar I have). I would like to do the best job I can within budget. CSVitamin D
I was stunned to hear from my doctor's office today that I'm very subnormal in vitamin D (B12 was normal). My level was 14 and Dr. Mercola site says no one should ever be below 32. This could explain my muscle and bone pain. If I'm deficient, I bet many of you are, too. I walk my dog several times a day, but my arms are all that are exposed to the sun (and not even that when it's cold). The doctor recommends 1,000 IU twice a day of vitamin D, plus she told me to get 400 mcg biotin for skin and nails and a good multivitamin and fish oil 2 to 4 gms per day. The only things I've taken every single day are magnesium, iodine, and DHEA. Sometimes I take buffered vitamin C, calcium, curcumin, niacin, multivitamin, E, selenium, glucosamine condroitin, MSM, bromelain and a few others. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to many problems such as autoimmune disease and cancer. Linus Pauling Institute Recommendation The Linus Pauling Institute recommends that generally healthy adults take a multivitamin supplement that supplies 400 IU (10 mcg) of vitamin D daily. Additionally, at least 10-15 minutes of sun exposure on the arms and legs or face and arms at least three times weekly between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm during the spring, summer, and fall may help residents of temperate latitudes (much of the U.S.) avoid vitamin D deficiency at the end of winter. Older adults (65 years and older) and people with minimal sun exposure In addition to the 400 IU (10 mcg) of vitamin D provided by a multivitamin supplement, people over the age of 65 and people who get minimal sun exposure throughout the year should take an additional vitamin D supplement of 400 IU/day (10 mcg/day) to provide a total of 800 IU/day (20 mcg/day). Problems with too much vitamin D can be as severe as with too little, so get the simple blood test before supplementing. I should have listened to Wayne!! Pat Never miss a thing. Can someone explain what this molecular silver is ? Is it made on the home devices? “MOLECULA SILVER” The Three Main Grades of Processed Silver 1. Colloidal Silver – Silver that is electronically processed into a fine state of subdivision that is suspended in liquid and due to the electronic charge, holds its individual character and settles very slowly. Only 6% or 7% of the body’s membranes are penetrated. 2. Ionic Silver – Electronically processed silver that is broken down into a free electron (or sub-atomic particle) that exists in solution. Only 6% or 7% of the body’s membranes are penetrated. 3. “Molecula Silver” is a form of ionic – Silver that has been electronically pushed into a state where it develops a self perpetuating pulse rate that is eternal in nature and pulses too rapidly for individual recording. One definition given by a noted physicist, Robert C. Beck, is that this silver when processed by this method, looses its identity as a traceable element i.e. is not identified as a “particle” and acts more like a gas. Other research professionals have tested this silver and found the exact same thing. It is etheric in nature but carries the signature of the element silver. The largest particle size of silver to be found is .062 nano’s which is over 60 times smaller than angstrom in size. Only 1.7 to 5 ppm can be found in the product and yet it has the power of 2,000 ppm. 100% of the body’s membranes are penetrated. (Molecula Silver) has been extensively tested on literally tens of thousands of people with impressive success. ** Start the year off right. Kenneth , Greeting all, I too am a newbe to the list and use CS daily.. I have had repeted sinus problems and antibotics 4 to 5 times a year Needs to say my emune sys was shat ..In 2007 started useing CS and I am on cloud 9 Wonderful stuff. Now makeing it and after many hours of reserch on net. the Main googal words are How do you make CColloidal silver this opens up a much wider knowledge. I talked to a gent yesterday a Mr T.J. Wiggins who has several web sites . His on going passion for years has been to inform people of CS ,a product that has had 47 yr. of FDA approval AND 127 DRUGS with silver in it. Now removed as they were useing 200 times more than we make now. There were about 200 reports of people getting gray angina ..spelling is not my best thing.. so it was taken off the market.. Mr wiggins is offers a free generator that connects to phone lines...low current and I believe this current from a phone line is pulsed. like an audio single generator. Ken, I believe your on the right track ..from what I have found air bubbled in gives the brew the needed carbon dioxide/monoxide. needed to do a good job..(to get the best product) my first generator was a battery ..3x 9 volt =27 plus volts into the .999 silver 14 ga wires .from ultrasilver.com ..I didn't use air but a water pump and this took over 6 hours. I now heat my water and try to keep it around 150 to 165 degrees on a hot pad like one used to keep coffee hot. Heat speeds up the process . Hope this helps...We all can use a little incouragement and confidence with these things. The web sites of Mr tim Wiggins are as follows (Mr Wiggins only sell a book and a few small telephone gen.s) http://www.elixsilver.com/index.htm This web site will take you to others that sell products. a freind from Stuttgart, Ar George Knoll - Original Message - From: KENNETH TUURI To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: 1/9/2008 11:56:19 PM Subject: CSHelp! Is citric acid more effective than lemon juice to mix with? They say vitamin C antidotes but citric acid is VitaminC. Re: CSHelp! New to the list!
The voltage is almost irrelevant. The current should be *around* 1 milliamp per square inch of electrode or less to avoid overloading the Nernst Diffusion layer. Distance between electrodes as well as area will regulate current by adding or decreasing resistance in the water. That can also be done with a potentiometer. You'll find that as current is held constant, voltage will go down as water conductivity goes up with the addition of silver ions. Ode At 09:54 PM 1/9/2008 -0800, you wrote: Hi everyone I'm Ken. CSRe: Elevated liver enzymes in a dog follow up
Hello All, Many, many thanks to Brooks Bradley for his timely information on ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid)! I have only good news to report about my old Andy-dog. His numbers have all reduced, some to completely normal and only 2 are still slightly elevated after 5 weeks on ALA. Even our vet was impressed by the quick turnaround and I have to say I'm completely overjoyed. His appetite has somewhat returned, although I fear I've created a spoiled brat food-wise since I've been trying various premium foods people foods for the past couple of months trying to get him to eat anything at all and now he's just darn picky. :-) I'm happy to deal with that though...his energy levels are increasing, so he's playing more and seems nearly back to his old self. Protocol: -4 weeks: Milk thistle (1/2 human dose) + Sam-E (full human dose) -Blood test liver numbers reduced, but not significantly with this part -1 week: Milk thistle + Sam-E + ALA in the morning; ALA evening. (double daily ALA dose) -4 weeks: Milk thistle + Sam-E morning; ALA evening (single dose) -Blood test: great results. Again, thanks Brooks and to all of you who sent good wishes and great advice. To:silver-list@eskimo.com CC: BCC: Subject:Re: CSMMS I'm currently mid-stream in the MMS protocol, after doing an abbreviated version of it in early December (because I didn't properly read the instructions). Just from my abbreviated version (I just did 1 through 15 drops daily, not three times daily as recommended. You start with 1 drop and work your way up to 15.) I can attest that it works. It all but eliminated a scalp fungus that defied all other treatment for 3 years, and I believe the full treatment will eliminate it entirely. It also gave me a distinct feeling of well-being and good health. Clorox doesn't do that for me. Some things respond better to the spike, such as parasites. Sites contradict each other. One says throughout is more effective the other says it looses potency over time. It does lose potency over time. 12 hours and it is probably almost all gone. Is citric acid more effective than lemon juice to mix with? Yes, because lemon contains ascorbic acid which is vitamin C, and that reacts with the chlorous acid. They say vitamin C antidotes but citric acid is VitaminC. Vitamin C is an antidote, but it is NOT citric acid. Years ago I was tested by a vega machine for dioxychlor which is the same as MMS and told it tested negative form me to treat lyme and mycoplasma that invaded my scalp muscles and caused chronic systemic issues. Re: CSVitamin D
I looked into this as well, and the final conclusion I came to was to go to a tanning bed that has UVB. I live too far north to get any D from the sun for about 6 months out of the year. The only problem with getting D this way may be from over exposure to the sun, like sunburn. Your body will not overdose on D from the sun, no matter how much sun you get. If you get your D from the sun you also do not need to take a blood test, just have at it. So I am happily going to my tanning booth with the high UV bed (around 4% is what they call high). It is relaxing and warm, and I get some color, though not much. I figured it to be 20 minutes a week, and one of the girls there said she asked her dermatologist, who advised her that up to 20 minutes twice a week was probably ok for her. The medical study on this I found on PubMed, search for tanning booth or tanning, UV beta, or something like that. kathryn On Jan 10, 2008, at 11:35 AM, Pat wrote: I'm sending this a second time since it never showed up in my email, hope you don't get it twice. Only 6% or 7% of the body’s membranes are penetrated. 2. * Ionic Silver* – Electronically processed silver that is broken down into a free electron (or sub-atomic particle) that exists in solution. Only 6% or 7% of the body’s membranes are penetrated. 3. * “Molecula Silver”* is a form of ionic – Silver that has been electronically pushed into a state where it develops a self perpetuating pulse rate that is eternal in nature and pulses too rapidly for individual recording. CSquestions for Mike D and Patticake
Mike did you mean milligrams on the selenium? Many of the multis have 200 micrograms. The amount you mentioned seemed kind of low but I know you have to be careful with minerals. Pat, what particular test for vitamin D do you recommend? I think that like thyroid tests, vitamin D tests are measured differently than other vitamin tests. The controversy over vitamin D is confusing because of the scare with vitamin D and sarcoids according to the marshall protocol. Also arent the effects of D irreversable if you get to much? It can be so confusing to try to keep up on the latest information. - Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.

Re: CSMMS
Hi Marmar, I am taking the MMS protocol and it is an effective treatment for a lot of symptoms. I post on the www.curezone.comhttp://www.curezone.com/ at mms forum. I think your husband will learn a lot. It has cleared my lung problems as well as many other problems associated with MS. It kills pathogens and removes heavy metals from the body. Many are finding it is effective against parasites. People on this forum are very supportive. If anyone asks tell them you heard about it on the silver list. Re: CSHow much is too much?/was Kathryn..Potassium/now Debbie, Leslie, Smitty, Faith
That's quite a list of things a deficiency in Potassium causes; like cancer?? Wow. I have been having my muscle spasms more lately and thought I'd gotten rid of them a couple of years ago; have gained weight, blood pressure is above normal most of the time, weakness, fatigue and occasional chest pains. Only thing for sure I don't have is constipation as I believe in acidolphus! LOL Thanks and I don't have any so gonna get some very soon. And I was shocked about how low the dosage is, too. According to my bottle of potassium, one 99 mg. caplet (I'm taking potassium gluconate) is 3% of the daily value. So, I guess the recommended amount as a supplement is currently around 3,300 mg. daily (3% of 3,300 = 90). But, it's a known fact that the RDA of most nutrients is way too low. One could easily deplete oneself of 3,300 mg. of potassium in just a few hours on a hot day, simply by sweating. Then we would end up tapping and depleting our 'potassium stores' (potassium stored in and outside our cells) which is supposed to stay above 4000 mmol or 72,000 mg. I guess they expect us to either eat bananas all day long, or pop these little pills like crazy, which is exactly what I've resorted to. [grin] Leslie: Potassium deficiency symptoms and diseases associated with or caused by potassium deficiency: Constipation; weakness; fatigue; irregular heartbeat; heart disease; inflammation; high blood pressure; muscle cramps, muscle pain, muscle numbness; muscle weakness and/or muscle spasms; diabetes; weight gain; rheumatoid arthritis; cancer. One of the reasons they keep telling us to eat fruit and vegetables is because of the potassium content. If you don't eat alot of fruits and veggies, and you aren't taking diuretics, and you don't have adrenal issues, or kidney disease, then you should somehow supplement potassium. -- Never miss a thing. Re: CSHelp! New to the list!
Hi Ken. Years ago I computed the total sq inch of coins and bars. For coins I came up with 4.75 total sq inches, thats front and back and edges. I forget the formula I used and some people say say you should only use the facing sides when using only two coins. I used 4 silver bars with a hole drilled in the top and a piece of 99.9% silver wire to hang the bars with. Spacing was 1 inch apart and mA was set at 10. Used a 1 gal sun tea jar. This set up would produce 1 quart per hour. Also used a aqu.pump for stirring. I also used polarity switching. PPM was around 20 then would drop to about 13 in 24 hrs. Worked great but I'm overseas now and use a much smaller setup. Hope that helps. Sam L On Jan 10, 2008 2:54 AM, KENNETH TUURI ktu...@shaw.ca wrote: Hi everyone I'm Ken. I'm new to the list but not new to Colloidal silver. I was making it a few years back, but have not for a while and been out of touch a little. When I was making it I was using a 9volt wallwart, distilled water, silver rods, + aqu.pump. Silver rods were worn out so I just picked up 2 Canadian Maple leaf coins . pure silver. In the past I always had some colloidal silver around to use a little when starting a new batch, but I don't have any now. So last night I made a batch, I ran it for about 3 hrs. Will this batch be a little weaker because I didn't have any CS to start it with? My thinking is I can use this batch as a starter? Trying to get up to date on things. I see they have a whole lot of CS generators on the market now. I understand from what I have read lately is that the prefered voltage to use is 30 volts. A friend who I will be making some for as well, is an Electronics Tech. and has offered (no cost) to build me a new constant current CS generator. So my question is; at 30 volts what should the current (constant current) be?? Also using this generator, how long will the process take? Is it less time with the higher volts? I will be using distilled water, silver coins . pure, + aqu.pump in a 14oz glass ( but I would like to use a 48qz mason jar I have). I would like to do the best job I can within budget. Looking for a little guidance from other members. Been reading alot of your emails on the list in the last few weeks and thought it was time I started adding to the overflow of email in my inbox lol. :) Just like to add that when I was using it before. One of the things I used it for was very oily skin and would soak a few cotton pads with CS and apply it to my face in some areas and just let the pad soak there for qiute a while, sometimes till they became dry. I did this for a few years with NO sign of grey or blue. Thought I would mention this as there has been alot of talk lately about Paul (aka the blue man) Just like to add a Happy + Heathly New Year to all. CSMMs hoax or cure?
Any validity to this statement found on another fourm? Sometimes it is good to hear a different viewpoint. Regarding MMS: many of the scientific and chemical claims don’t make sense or are nonsense. chlorine dioxide is a good disinfectant, sure, but it is no mirace cure for anything. And while it is less toxic than chlorine it is still toxic and similar to chorine in many ways — including being a powerful oxidizing agent. For decades now people have been touting anit-oxidants for curing everything. Well guess what, an oxidizing agent is excatly the opposite and causes damage that anit-oxidants are supposed to protect you from. It doens’t make any sense. Basically just another health hoax. • ** Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp0030002489
CSMMS hoax or cure? Or Facts
Morning GMetropulo, are nonsense. chlorine dioxide is a good disinfectant, sure, but it is no mirace cure for anything. And while it is less toxic than chlorine it is still toxic and similar to chorine in many ways including being a powerful oxidizing Study a bit more and see what all it is used for, FDA approved uses, and the fact it has been used for 50 to 75 years for thousands of things. Including curing every disease in cattle, Also study the Genius chemists that worked out how to make this in the body, in very small amounts. Not Mr. Humble, but a NASA chemist and Scientists. Then form your opinions. The statement of one doctor doing research today stated, we are on the verge of proving this is the best Antibiotic ever made by man. There is more that meets the eye. There is no miracle to it, just a lot of facts. The best thing about it is that you can make it at home just like CS. The Drug company would charge you 1/4 million per pound. Yes, they charge this and more. Figure that out also. but it is no mirace cure for anything. Guess you missed all the facts on Malaria. Wayne =

I'm sorry, this is not a viewpoint. It's just a bunch of unsubstantiated statements. I suppose it could be the result of a viewpoint.
