CSCS and soil reactions in the garden

2008-03-13 Thread Dianne France
When we notice that we have a bacteria attacking our plants my first thought
was to grab the cs. It probably would really help the plant but what are the
side effects of using silver in the garden. Does it eventually end up in the
soil and would it kill the beneficial bacteria that the plants need? If it
does how long would the effects of the silver in the soil last?

I'm noticing that some of the heirloom seed/plants have more problems with
disease than the other seeds I have planted.

Why would anyone want to consume Gatorade? My word ... that
stuff is enough to make you sick on its own.
The Sodium to Potassium ratio is most unhealthy ... supports
hypertension.
I've also witnessed a case of chronic diarrhea caused by
Gatorade consumption. As soon as the Gatorade was halted, the diarrhea
ceased. High fructose corn sweetener has been implicated in diarrhea
type IBS.
I know of a 70-something year old male who is now fitted with an
ileo-ostomy bag. His chronic diarrhea was simply too inconvenient ...
so he spent 21 days at a hospital, recovering from bowel surgery. Turns
out that his problem stems from consuming too much high fructose corn
syrup.
Another case ... 18 year old male high school football player.
In and out of the hospital for chronic diarrhea IBS ... this kid lost 40
lbs. His parents refused to allow his gut cut. Finally ... after much
time, misery and money ... a kind, honest and competent specialist
suggested that he eliminate high fructose corn sweetener from his diet.
This kid enjoyed an immediate recovery.

think many people will already have heard that during WWII it was even used as
a blood volume expander instead of the unavailable blood transfusions, with no
adverse results. The ratio of minerals etc. is very, very close to the human
blood ratio.
It's available in many forms; in my town I am able to get it canned with
little pieces of the young flesh or gel floating in it.

My new trick is to have a drink of the coconut juice slightly diluted or

Gatorade used to be a better product when it was developed, as is the
case with many things. Get a good product, then the company gets bought
out, and the product is reformulated to be cheaper to produce. The
point for gatorade is that the body needs a sodium to potassium ratio,
that and a little sugar helps recover from sports or other situations
when it might be desirable to use an electrolyte replacement. lemonade
is even better.

Brominated vegetable oils are poisonous alone, with or without corn
syrup, which has it's own thang going on.

I used to hear about a home made electrolyte solution, called
gook-in-ade. WHO also has a recipe, which I used to use when my kids
were little.

Have you heard of EM? EM is what I would use if I had your problem. I read
the book by Dr. Teruo Higa and essentially EM is friendly bacteria that does
battle with the bad bacteria. He wrote that once the friendly ones win the
battle or outnumber the bad, the bad turns to good. Similarly, I would use
probiotics for my intestinal tract when I'm having tummy pains. Some
farmers have been able to reduce their use of fertilizers, pesticides, etc.
in under 3 years for their crops in Japan. They also use it as an
anti-pollutant and disinfectant. In our state, they were using it at the
zoo to dissolve the animal wastes faster (and less smelly) and at hotels to
keep the waterfalls' water cleaner without using chemicals. I don't know if
they were successful because I haven't followed up on this. Some people
that grow things, though, were reporting bountiful harvests and larger fruits
and flowers. I talked to the distributor and they told me that they
encouraged growers to also use some type of seaweed mix fertilizer too with
the EM. Sorry I got off on another tangent.

Anyway, you can do a search on Dr. Higa and EM. I don't think he has a
website but there are others writing about it.

I talked to the distributor and they told me that they
encouraged growers to also use some type of
seaweed mix fertilizer too with the EM.

For those interested, here is a supplier of EM =

Re: CSRe: Gatorade?

2008-03-13 Thread Duncan Crow
Hi Dan; I know some people are sensitive to foods and
additives; that said, like millions of others, my
fianceé, my parents, myself and my sister use
sucralose without incident. Not that I recommend it,
but that's the way it is. My fiancee prefers Powerade
though because it has nearly a 1:1 sodium:potassium
ratio, and Gatorade has 3:1.

Re: CSCS and soil reactions in the garden

2008-03-13 Thread Sharlene Miyamura
Thanks Smitty. I forgot to mention that I mixed EM with molasses before
feeding my plants, food for the microorganisms. People were drinking it
down because of its richness in antioxidants and this is when the FDA shut
down the sale of it for awhile over here, it wasn't intended for human
consumption. I think they were supposed to have changed the label
setting this straight and this was years ago when it was first introduced
here in the US. Dr. Higa has reportedly stated that EM helps cleans the DNA
and transmutes it to a higher frequency. Whatever that means...
