CS>Re: silver-digest Digest V2014 #280

2014-11-27 Thread Sara Mandal-Joy
See
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2013/03/03/msm-benefits.aspx
MSM is produced from
DMSO, which is produced in a variety of ways - including as a byproduct
of papermaking. However, MSM is a sulphur compound, about 34% sulphur
content. The MSM however not only provides sulphur, but also makes
sulphur more available to the body. Many of us take it daily.Sara
Please be aware that MSM and Sulphur are not the same thing. Sulphur
is Sulphur and MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane a byproduct of
papermaking, I believe.

2014-11-27 Thread ASL raVen
Hi all,
Thanks for all of your input regarding MSM.
Since I already take so much supplements for FMS, Hashimoto's, arthritis,
MCS, etc,etc (snoring yet anyone?) --- when is the best time to take MSM -
before/with/after a meal?
How much?
So many times what the instructions says isn't always accurate for some
individuals.
One size fits all isn't always the case.

Or to save money, if you already bought before, recycle brown glass bottles

Re: CS>MSM rids Parasites

2014-11-27 Thread Victor Cozzetto
Hi RaVen,

MSM is 'bioavailable' sulfer; meaning that the body is able to use the
sulfur in the MSM. Our body can rarely make use of vitamins, minerals, etc.
independently. For example, many nutrients are fat soluble, and thus cannot
be used unless they are consumed with fat. Healthy fats are essential.

MSM also seems to provide us with some DSMO, which is likely part of the
reason that it is so effective at assisting other protocols. I would say
that it is an easier and safer way to get minor DSMO benefits.

I do not know about the safety of sulfur internally; although sulfur is
well renowned for its external theraputic values (i.e. Hot Springs, sulfur
baths). MSM seems like a much more valuable source of sulfur, since it has
additional benefits that we probably do not fully understand.

MSM seems quite safe, but should NOT be taken simultaneously with any
medications, as it could magnify the effect. Of course that danger is also
one of its benefits. It does require caution. I am no expert, but this is
my current understanding of MSM. I have been using it only since this year.

Victor

Re: CS>MSM rids Parasites

2014-11-27 Thread Lena Guyot
I get mine in bulk from Feed 'n' Seed. The AniMed brand. Yes MSM for animals,
but the same grade as human. Been taking it for years. The first time I took it
I herxed rather dramatically and asked lymestrategies if MSM was a Lyme killer
(herxes being the reaction to the toxic by-products of killing Lyme pathogens).
I was told, No, that MSM didn't work that way, but simply amplified the
efficiency of the protocol I was on. As for your question about sulphur, dunno.
I don't take sulphur otherwise, although there's a small amount in my well
water sometimes. I generally distill my drinking water but still use tap for
ice-cubes.
Be well,
Léna

I think CS only changes in light if it is unstable. To me that means CS
with a LOT of particles or large particles or some contamination or other.
Mainly that problem would be particles agglomerating (think that is the
right term) to where they are too large to stay suspended and drop out
of solution and/or the CS might turn color. My CS here stays completely
water clear. No silver dropping out of solution either.

Hi All,
I thought some of you may enjoy the info I just discovered from a woman who
shared her father's parasite issues and used MSM to rid them:

Re: CS>Storage of CS

2014-11-27 Thread Ode Coyote
Be aware that glass is not 'waterproof' and may leave residues
impregnating the glass that will leach out over time and contaminate
your EIS.

..just try and get the stink out of an old beer bottle ?

Boil the glass in distilled water to pre-leach contaminants.

Air exposure can eventually oxidize some of the ionic content and turn it
yellow..bottles are better than jars as the narrow neck limits surface area

A various assortment of AC/DC converters can be found at Thrift stores; some

battery setup, but
should be successful.

Voltage is nearly irrelevant...current and current density on the electrodes is
what is important.
Voltage is a function of current across a conductive medium. That's 3
inter-related and changing factors to consider, control and monitor.
Constant voltage is a set up for 'runaway' current and the higher the voltage
the faster it'll run away...which makes high concentration zones at the
electrode surface and in the water between the electrodes where large particles
and oxides form...and makes it impossible to tell how strong you made it.

To make EIS fast and still be predictable takes VERY large electrodes to keep
the current density spread out.

ONE nine volt battery would be preferable...even 1 or 2 AA batteries.

If made with salt or baking soda, it will because the result is
photo-reactive silver chloride or silver carbonate.
Pure silver, water and electricity produces no photo-reactive silver
compounds.

I've left samples in clear glass on a sunny windowsill for 5 years with
no change evident.
