Oops, that should’ve been argyria. The silver will form compounds with minerals in the water, which may reduce effectiveness as well as likely greatly increasing the risk of argia (blue tinged skin, usually starting with the moons of the nails). So you want to get the minerals out first. Our water comes from a remote (as in, there’s nothing on it above us) mountain creek that is mostly fed by a spring in winter. It’s only considered mildly hard water and is great for drinking, but we distill it (use and recommend Mini Classic CT if it fits the budget and you want to distill your own) before making CS. In fact, distilled once it just barely met the low conductivity specs suggested by SilverGen. We may try distilling it twice in the future to bring that down further, though our CS has turned out great—some clear and some with a slight yellow tinge, estimated around 20 ppm based on conductivity change from distilled water before turning it into CS. Making your own is definitely the way to go; it’s crazy expensive to buy, but barely more expensive than water to make. We had used it as a disinfectant spray, gargle, etc, but never drank much until recently. Gargling/swishing with it a few times a day for a day or two seems to take care of any toothe/gum issues that start to hurt. We’ve drank up to 1 cup per day over the last bit after getting fed up with a flu going around here that just didn’t want to let got. Wish we’d done so sooner, as everyone felt better quickly. I’m guessing it is best to drink it on an empty stomach, which is what we aimed to do. CSHello from a new member
Hello to all, I am new to this group, having recently been (more or less) introduced to the list, from a friend. I have been a believer in the benefits of Colloidal Silver for a number of years. For years it was just knowledge, then it was actually making my own with a couple of batteries, wire, and silver rods. Then my friend told me about the Silver Puppy, Colloidal Silver maker. I then went and bought one. I'm here to learn. Kenneth Taylor

Welcome Kenneth, You're going to enjoy all the possibilities of CS, and congratulations on the arrival of your Silver Puppy! This will empower you to use it lavishly, share with family and friends, and spread the wonderful benefits to an ever-widening community. CSeye problems
Some years ago my left eye endured increasing pain and episodes of colored lights. I was told by an optometrist that these were 'classic' symptoms of visual migraines. Endurance was necessary! However, Hulda Clark's book said that pain in the eyeball itself was ALWAYS caused by parasites in the eyeball itself. Since the pain in that eye was terrible, I decided to check this out. The first dose of the green hull black walnut tincture caused the immediate cessation of pain. After a few days the pain began to return. Rather quickly, I really loaded up on the tincture along with the other parts of the cleanse and now --no more pain. I was really really happy for 6 months or so. Couldn't figure out why I was so happy for a while, then realized that the eye pain was gone. This is not floaters, but might be beneficial in some way for some. I hope so. directcurrent90
