that it doesn't hurt. Never tried it though so I don't know if that's true

I've sprayed it neat up my nose before and it doesn't hurt. Probably
because it's going up there as a fine mist. I used Vicks Sinex for approx.
30 years because my nose was always blocked. After a week of spraying CS up
there I was able to stop it and I never went back to Vicks.

I buy my Cs thru Bio Alternatives online,as I am a klutz at making anything
requireing math skills .

I use it for my pets for wound cleaning, upset tummy, bad food,

I gargle with it for sore throats have used it as a wound wash for me and
use it in a spray bottle as an odor elimanator.

But what I need to know now is :** if anyone has used CS as an eye drop to
treat beginning cataract development.**

I got DX with them last week ( both eye) and of course the Dr.wants to
fix then for me.

Another list I'm on sugested using** MSM powder CS as eye drops**. Would
like to hear any feed back re: this fromula or any alternative ideas.

I'm not into surgery, on my eyes, bit of a chicken on that idea ,so any

RE: CSThyroid

2013-01-21 Thread Donna M Lewis
You can, but UK docs are just as bad as US ones. I'm British by the way,
but I've lived in the US for the last 7 years. Go to that site anyway
because there are UK folks that have testimonials on it. You can also join
the Yahoo Group which has a lot more info in there. You'll be able to find
out from the Yahoo group what doctors in the UK are willing to prescribe
Naturethroid or Armour Thyroid. There's one poor Dr over there that keeps
being pulled up in front of the BMA to answer charges from other doctors
about prescribing Armour etc but he keeps winning the cases because all of
his patients back him up that they feel so much better under his care. I
fear that his luck may run out though because some doctors really have it in
for him.

Most people who are on the Yahoo Group end up self treating. You will be
able to get the medication but you may have to get it from overseas. There
are places that you can get it from without prescription too.

Yep, it's Levothyroxine a T4 only medication. You will never get better on
that. They prescribe it on the basis that your body converts the T4 to T3
in your body and it does, but that's not all you need. The body naturally
produces T4, T3 (and the body converts more T4 to T3 when it needs it), T2
T1 and Calcitonin. T4 medication does not address the T2, T1 and
calcitonin. No allopathic doctor or endocrinologist will medicate you so
that your symptoms go away. In fact you may be unlucky enough to have to
eventually see the doctor because of depression, weight gain (that you
simply cannot lose regardless of how well you eat and exercise),
sluggishness - no energy, all over body aches (fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue
syndrome) all of which you'll be medicated for.

I've already posted in another thread about this but if you want to read

Sorry for jumping in here but you will almost certainly need to start taking
iodine. That won't cure everything though, but you'll definitely need to
supplement with it. You ought to have your adrenals tested too. Go for the
saliva testing, not blood or urine, those aren't accurate.

yes...I was diagnosed with hypo a few years ago...after much research and
expreraminting with my doctor (Internist) I am now no longer on any meds...n
one...I had to take a med for my thyroid for about 4 yearswas only on
Armour(natural which some doc hate..but it is a balanced T1-T2-T3-T4
products...for my thyroid..most docs in truth do not undertand what docs of
years ago knew abou the thyroid function...or the adrenal gland
involvement...

Docs dont know what the T 1 and T 2 do..so say they have no value.
here is a couple website...learn all you can...you dont want to travel the
horror story so many do today..
mostly because they dont know any different/better way to go...just follow
what the doc says..
http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

http://www.ivy-rose.co.uk/Define/Thyroxin

you will learn too...many do not believe the testing is enough..symtoms of =
our bodies should be as important has the TSH test.

I also recently learned how much histimine can affect the thyroiddid
research..then went to doc to discuss it...he said yes..he can very much
affect it..I said..for some reason..my allergies seen worst and it is
causing histimine issues

Well the mystery is solved..I have a negative reaction to cashews..which I
love and was eating many during the holidays..and the further in time away
from them..inflamation(and water retention) is gone..and even a clicking in
a thumb joint is gone...

so research research...

tried all kinds of nail hardener over here and they're all rubbish.
You paint it on every day (and it soaks in as opposed to drying on
your nails like a polish) for about a week, then you only need to do
it once or twice a week after that.

Nailoid has other products but this one is the ONLY one that works.

2012-11-04 Thread Donna M Lewis
That kind of put me off too, but I decided to try it anyway, especially as I
wouldn't be using it long term. Like I said it works and it's the only
thing that works for me. I also see results in a very short period of time
and that's what won me over.

I'm all for natural products as much as possible, but a lot of the time I
don't notice much of a difference and if I do, it takes ages for a
difference to be noticed. That's not to say that I don't stick with them, I
do, but if I'm in a rush (like with my nails) then I'll go for the unhealthy
route (once in a while).

RE: Paypal, was Re: CSInfo Silver wire

2012-10-19 Thread Donna M Lewis
I'd just like to put my tuppence worth in here. The fact that they want you
to give them your bank details at $10K makes me think that this is not a
PayPal thing but a regulatory thing. Whenever you withdraw $10K per year
(in one go or cumulative) the banks have to inform the Govt/IRS. This is
supposedly to try to counteract money laundering. I might be wrong, but it
might be worth considering, or asking PayPal WHY they want this information
once you hit $10K. Oh and by the way, the bank doesn't inform you when they
pass on your info to the IRS. That's the Patriot Act for you.

Hi Lou. Thanks for your post. I need to make a clarification here, though
-- I am not talking about a *notice from Paypal to update my account
information*. I, too, have received those scam emails, and I simply delete
them.

What I am talking about is a legitimate email from Paypal telling you that
you are approaching your ten thousand dollar spending limit. If you follow
up on this email by going to Paypal (never through a link, but by regular
internet access), you will see the same information on your Paypal account
page. And if you call Paypal by phone to inquire about this, they will tell
you that this is correct -- that you have to verify your identity (because
you have never come into their office and filled out an application form,
etc. -- why would I need to do that?)

My argument is that I've been doing business with Ebay and Paypal under the
same name, address and phone number, and the same credit card number, for
many years. If I wasn't who I say I am, wouldn't there have been a problem
by now?

My opinion -- they're asking for information that they're not entitled to,
and do not need to know. If you haven't encountered this problem yet, you
will when you reach their thresh-hold of ten thousand dollars.

Dr.s not knowing the mothers lifestyle , or wanting to take the time to ask

Hi
Lois,

I
checked out oleolux as I had never heard of it before. It looks good but I
would sorely miss butter as I like the sweet taste of it on things like whole
grain hot cereals and I have to be careful with onions and garlic as I have
turned up a food sensitivity to them in the past. I’m glad it serves you well.

One
thing I saw on the site, I believe, was that the supreme coconut oil is for
taking unheated and they have one that is one grade down that is used for
cooking.

I’m
glad you are doing better.

Blessings,

If you do get a prescription for it, a good compounding pharmacy to use is
Skip's in Florida. They're cheap and their customer service is great. They
also know their stuff. They're even happy to change the filler to one of
your choice if need be.

Also remember that LDN is an Opioid blocker so drugs like Vicodin etc won't
work while you're taking LDN. So, if you need to go in for a procedure like
a colonoscopy etc, you need to stop taking the LDN for a while beforehand.
I had to have a colonoscopy and I was told that com ing off LDN for a couple
of days beforehand would be enough. I don't think it was. While I wasn't
in any pain, I was completely aware of what was happening to me and can
still remember everything that went on during the procedure and that was
approximately 2 years ago. I think that if I had been off the LDN for a
couple of weeks then the sedation would have been more effective.

but I must address these cataracts first, because they can cause blindnesss.
It is my 1st priority because I am a single father, and my kids will be
taken away from me to childs protective services(foster home)because of my
deterioting eyesight which will cause me to lose my job. If you have any
info, and/or any personal experiences on any non-surgical(topical
eyedrops/oral medication) that you know can dissolve cataracts/diminish
cataracts/halt the progression of cataracts or anything positve about any
product that you or someone you know may have benefited from, please for the
love of God, please get in contact with me,and share with me what you know.
I have been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes 5 months ago, as I
mentioned I have no health insurance and can never afford cataract sugery at
this time. What I have dreaded has happend , and that is that diabetes would
effect my eyes, because I knew I would never be able to afford any kind of
sugery or laser surgery for my eyes, because I have no health insurance. I
am frantically trying to try to obtain some affortable health insurnace, so
I can pay for cataract sugergy which I have been unable to obtain every
since being diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago. In the meantime I am hoping
and praying I can find a non-surgical product to prevent me from possible
going blind ( As I mention the prospects of going blind is constanly on my
mind because I am a single father, and my kids most likely will be taken
away from me. Please, please, please have mercy and reply to this message if
you know anything that can help a person such as myself).

I am hoping a memember of the group has had
some personal experience of having success with any products dissolving
cataracts or
getting some positive results from any alternative non-surgical treatments
of their cataracts. Any positve experience you may have or someone that you
know may have had with a product that has been effective in the treatment of
cataracts, please, please, please let me know. I have tried (5) products(all
from overseas, because they are the only ones I can afford), and have not
gotten any positive results as far as my vision being improved. If anyone
who is a memember of the group that has gotten any postive results from the
taking of any products that claim to reverse/halt or dissolve cataracts,
please share your story with me. I am looking for any product at the very
least halting these cataracts so I can find some health insurance. Any
advice, any opinion, anything you tell me that you think that would be
helpful to me I will be appreciative, and be eternally grateful for anything
you can tell me. That could possibly help me save my sight. Thank you.

Enzyme use for vco production does not make the product last for a long
time...it gives the catch in the throat and smells sour.

This experience was from long time ago, unless they have improved it.

We use the centrifuged (for direct ingesting to avoid coconut oil taste
which i truly hate) and expeller pressed (for cooking). We purchase them
from wilderness family naturals. We, however, was given a bad centrifuged
oil with too deep yellow color and very strong coconut taste. I complained
and they insisted it was centrifuged. I told them i am not there to argue
but they should check on their supplier because it is so obvious very high
heat was used to get those color and taste. They did check on their
supplier, and it turned out the supplier did something to the way they
produced it. They have changed supplier since then. They carry organic
RBD oil. I don't know if their supplier used hexane on it. I emailed them
to ask...but still no reply. That was two days ago. RBD does not have taste
or smell. Believe it or not, it still has the lauric acid. This lauric acid
just wouldn't die...LOL. If they can confirm no hexane, chlorine (to bleach)
was used, i would purchase that for cooking.

Heat or no heat still gives lauric acid. What is important is that there is
no catch in the throat which indicates the vco has gone bad. No sour smell
another way of telling it is no longer good. Any green/furry/gray spot,
means mold. Color should be as clear as possible when in liquid state.
The yellower the color the more heat is used. The sharper the coconut taste
the more heat is used also.

I'm forwarding this provocative article for feedback.

I found the article of particular interest for those of us who make our own
CS from distilled water...from any source.

A total dissolved PM reading, on a PPM scale may not indicate any VOCs or
DBPs as the article states (which are dangerous at PPB levels). But, then,
we're not typically swigging glassfulls of CS a day either.

Any thoughts? thanks, and have a happy!!

to LDN caused me to extremely elevated liver enzymes. My enzymes have
dropped back down to normal on LDN.

Naltrexone definitely does have side effects. You cannot be on any kind of
opiate, both prescription and street type, and cannot have any alcohol, and
it's very dangerous if you have any kind of liver or kidney problems, and
some other drugs interact with it, and it makes some over the counter and
prescription medicines not work. And you can't rely on doctors to even know
all that, and to provide the necessary follow up lab tests that have to been
done, I've seen it given with no follow up by a doctor. They usually say
the lab tests are too expensive and not necessary, but you're the one who
pays the price when they're wrong.

Do a google search for Naltrexone side effects to gain a better
understanding before experimenting.

Not sure who originally publicized it on this list, but the
www.lowdosenaltrexone http://www.lowdosenaltrexone/ has tons of info on
it. It is very, very good for nearly anything, but seems to be especially
good for nerve troubles. Not familiar with the particular condition you
inquired about, but since the low dose of the naltrexone does no harm, and
helps so many conditions, and is so very, very cheap, cheap, cheap--- my
take is Why on earth not give it a try??pj ps You will very likely
NOT be disappointed.

From what I've read, DMSO has a detrimental effect on the liver, so why
would anyone want to take it?

Now see, I read that as having no problems with using DMSO on horses
that had problems to use DMSO on.

You might want to join the DMSO group on yahoo. Lots of great information.
I do believe it to be safe or I wouldn't have used it. We have used it IV
in our
horses with problems for many years.

I took one teaspoon with a small amount of grape juice. Didn't
really help the taste but I did have a lot of body odor for a
while. Daddybob said he takes it internally also and has body
odor also. I only took it a couple times and spaced out over
days but it broke everything loose.

RE: CSSinus Flush, Why not mucous ?

2009-02-22 Thread Donna M Lewis
I have had sinus problems for over 30 years. Sometimes I could hardly sleep
because my nasal passages were so blocked up. I started using CS about 3
months ago. For the first week I sprayed it up my nose and I was able to
sleep soundly. Nowadays I just use it if I get stuffed up before bedtime
(which isn't very often now). It's been a godsend to me. I never did have
those black bits though. Oh and it doesn't seem to have affected my mucous
production either. If anything, it's clearer---and easier to blow my nose.

You never heard of a Mucous Production,

The when, where, why, and the Value ?

Not hard to do, and CS does not do it.

Better get some mucous.

By the pint or by the gallon.

Subject: CSSinus Flush

Daughter who has had sinus surgery years ago is having awful allergies. She
asks this in an email:

When I do a sinus flush with just the salt and baking soda in distilled
water, I don't smell anything different. BUT, when I put in a bit of
colloidal
silver in with it, for about half an hour afterwards I smell some icky
smell.
Not really a mold smell but sort of a stale possibly musty smell. Do you
think
it's possible that the stuff in my sinuses is fungal and I'm smelling it die
off
or is mixing colloidal silver with all the other stuff not good and I'm just

smelling it?

It doesn't smell like it in the bottle and the crap I get out doesn't smell
like it either, and no one else can smell anything so it's not like I'm
suddenly
able to smell the house. The gunk that comes out often has like blackish
particles and I get occasional gunk during/after it that has like greyish
snot
surrounded by clear snot. But I can't find any descriptions on what the goo
should look like. It's definitely NOT dried blood, though.

___

Does anyone have any suggestions or comments that I can forward to her?

Pat

RE: CSFluoride boiling water

2009-02-16 Thread Donna M Lewis
Distilling is the only way to go to remove the fluoride. I'm on a Thyroid
group and we discussed this recently. RO doesn't do the job well enough.
Try Glacier Water, they seem to be the best.

Subject: CSFluoride boiling water

Since we're on the subject of fluoride, I thought I'd give a heads up to
those with thyroid problems. Several months ago I too read that boiling
water (not distilling) increases the fluoride. I don't have any of the
materials I read back then to quote from now.

But having read that fluoride interferes with the thyroid, I have been
drinking only distilled or reverse osmosis water and then adding minerals
(ConcenTrace). For coffee or hot tea or any other hot or cold drinks I only
heat the small amount of DW or RO water that I need at that time. I should
probably also be using DW or RO water to cook vegetables as well, but that
requires haulin lots of gallon jugs from the store.

I think I will research some RO units for under the sink as I have time this
week. Meantime, anyone with suggestions on the best bang for my buck on RO
units, or any other suggestions on best utilizing the water and avoiding
fluoride for best health, would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Ruth
