Tetanus is a bug that forms endospores...endospores can survive boiling

Hi group

Can anyone please tell me if CS is effective against Tetanus? None of my
children are vaccinated, and I guess the only one I am concerned about is
tetanus. The tetanus bacteria do not need oxygen to survive, and from what
I understand CS cuts of the oxygen supply to bacteria etc, which is why
they die. This wouldn't affect the tetanus germ as it doesn't require
oxygen. Have I got this completely wrong and your all rolling about
laughing, or does CS actually work against tetanus?

Regards

Tracy.

What is the skin effect? Sorry for my ignorance here.

Also, I have been thinking about using a zapper, or beck device for my lyme
disease. But i have a question about the electical current. Is the current
evenly distributed throughout the body. I would think the current would take
the path of least resistance. For example, if you placed an elctrode on each

Karen, the white coated tongue is probably caused by an overgrowth of
certain bacteria in the digestive system. The foods you mention will
help. Apples and their juice taken as the first food of the day, by
themselves, and waiting for at least an hour before consuming anything
else, will help favorable bacteria flourish. The apple cider vinegar
taken 2 tsp.to the glass when eating starches or protein foods will help
digestion considerably. This will also help good bacteria grow. I have
read the names of the bacteria responsible for the different colors of
the coated tongue--some for white, some for pale yellow, some for the
darker yellow, and even the dark gray sometimes seen. Don't remember
the names though. Multiple digestive enzyme tablets with betaine
hydrochloride will make a big difference in her digestion. Also, if she
eats anything after 5 or 6 in the evening it should be fresh fruit
only. These things will help. Best wishes, pj

I have to agree with rational thinking. Yes it is good to listen to both
sides of an argument, but i do think the editors of quackwatch have a blind
love affair with western medicine anthing that does not come from Pfizer
or Lilly must be the work of a quack (in their minds) when in fact if one
just does the research on some alternative types of medicine they will often
find validity into why other forms of therapy work... Why is quackwatch
trying to protect us from alternative medicine? I would wager that people
who pursue alternative forms of medicine have often researched it in advance
and are aware of what traditional medicine has to offer. I would also
wager that people who pursue other forms of treatment are better educated
than most of the sheep who aimlessly adhere to treatment without getting
second opinions and doing research on their own. But yes, it is correct
that we should keep an open mind - even if we do not like the source.

interesting QuackWatch discussion of microwave radiation and mercury

however imperfect the discussion, before making up your own mind even if
you
have to rely on interpreted or even distorted information. Otherwise,
you're

faced with digging out all the relevant, and sometimes highly esoteric and
technical information yourself, interpreting what you found so that you can
reach an independent conclusion. Few of us have such a knowledge base,
and/or
training to do that beyond our own specialty. In fact, many posters here
are

simply not specialized in ANY particular area. It is much easier to let the
so called experts make their case, and then decide who has the best
supporting evidence and logic on his/her side. Tuning in to Quackwatch is
helpful in this regard. What are the alternatives? Even using gut feel or
intuition should be combined with as much factual information as possible.
IMHO, relying solely on your inner voice may simply be a rational for
intellectual laziness. Roger

Re: CSUltraviolet blood irradiation

2000-07-07 Thread rob gr
If you are in the early stages then this might be a blessing or a curse.
There is a lot of theory behind lyme. I have been working on a Lyme Fact
sheet to give to doctors who are Lyme-illiterate, but have not completed it
yet. Anyways, Lyme has several protein coats. Unlike some more basic
pathogens, lyme can change its protein coat (still don't know if it does it
at random or when the environment becomes threatening)This is one reason
why the human immune system has such difficulty with Lyme (Bb). The immune
system has a difficult time creating a complete antibody response to the
different protein coats and it has difficulty producing the amount of each
antibody neccessary to manage lyme. In addition Lyme is a very slow
infection. Most Antibiotics work by disrupting cell division - so even if
lyme and your favorite ABX come in contact with one another Lyme does not
automatically die. Some Lyme may go latent for a very long time. For this
reason it may be neccessary to keep up the ABX for a very long time. Also
the Western Blot done after antibiotic treatment should give you some idea
about how strong your antibody response is.

There are numerous other interesting tid-bits about Lyme. Dr. Sam Donta has
been trying to identify various neurotoxins created by lyme and has recently
had success identifying one that is very close in chemical structure to
Botox - this would account for why Lyme Patients often have a limb or side
of the face go listless and numb.

Another reason the immune system has difficulty with Bb is found in a study
done by the NIH. It was found in-vitro that Bb actually attacks T and B
cells and Kills the very immune cells that are designed to protect the body
from infection. I think the report stated that over time, however, the T and
B cells were able to adjust.

I do think over time the human immune system is able to manage Bb to a point
- but the bacteria lives on as a chronic infection - It depends on the
individual, the bacterial load, and the strain of the bacteria, along with
your stress level, your diet and exercise, etc... as to how well you
co-exist with this little critter called Lyme. I do not think CS will
eradicate all the lyme but if it can get me back to feeling normal again, i
will take a maintenance dose for the rest of my life. EVEN IF IT TURNS ME
BLUE :o)

Well I think CS has merrit because (in theory) it should be able to
penetrate within cells. I however read a post from one woman who said
it
took 9months before CS put her lyme into remission. Lyme has a very
slow
division time (similar to Tuberculosis). For this reason, it takes a
very

 long time to treat.  I think CS along with a low carb,protein diet;
exercise
and positive thinking are what it takes to beat lyme...

Let me know how you are doing.

understand that you may be able to help me with some alternative routes of
treatment.

  Blessings and many thanks, Chris

Dear Chris, Hi! I`m a former Lymie myself, and it was CS that cured me.
The antibiotics kept me alive, barely, but now I`m totally well.

Do you have Lyme yourself, or someone you know?
Do you need directions for making your own CS generator?
Let us know what you want to know about CS or Lyme, I ,or someone else
here can probably help!

Well I think CS has merrit because (in theory) it should be able to
penetrate within cells. I however read a post from one woman who said it
took 9months before CS put her lyme into remission. Lyme has a very slow
division time (similar to Tuberculosis). For this reason, it takes a very
long time to treat. I think CS along with a low carb, protein diet; exercise
and positive thinking are what it takes to beat lyme...

The ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) was used before antibiotics were
invented. It is quite effective in eliminating infection, apparently. It is
not covered by insurance and the FDA has not approved it for Lyme
treatment.

My doctor will have me sign a form stating I am taking the treatment for
research purposes.

The procedure is as follows:

A line is put in to draw blood into a bottle (no more than a pint, probably
less)
As the blood travels through the tube, it passes over UV light. The UV
light

kills the bacteria in your blood and the blood becomes irradiated.
Then the blood is put back into you (my doctor gives oxygen during this
part

of the procedure). The blood put back in does bring some benefit to your
other blood.

My doctor recommended 20 treatments to kill the Lyme; that might be more
treatments than some recommend. I'm imagining the doctor may be trying to
make some money on this, but I don't mind because the treatment, she says,
is as effective as antibiotics without the side effects.

I plan to use a zapper, do the UBI treatment and take CS. If that doesn't
get the Lyme, I don't know what will :o)

And I

regulate the
 pH of the Blood?

 Rob
 in memphis

That is so, Rob.

And while the pH of the blood and fluids is nowhere near acid enough to
dissolve bone or anything else, no matter how much soft drink is
consumed, it is this very regulation that causes the many health
problems associated with high acidic intake.

In order to maintain the slightly alkaline blood pH of ~7.4 the body
needs to somehow neutralise those acids that are in solution. It dose so
by reacting the acid with some element or compound which when combined
form a neutral compound. This is often achieved by the use of calcium
ions which it will pull from bone matrix, which in the long term results
in osteoporosis etc. Unfortunately, these now neutral compounds are
generally insoluble, and precipitate from the blood and fluids to form
plaques, spurs and stones, the double whammy effect.

If the blood contains good amounts of sodium and potassium, these will
bind to the acid content of the fluids and even displace calcium from
plaques etc., and because sodium and potassium compound are generally
soluble they are able to be transported to the kidneys and liver and
excreted.

Hope this helps clear confusion :-)

Ivan.

Hi Again Pamela
it's me again...The magnetic pulser is a magnetic pulse generator
which generates a powerful magnetic pulse...The coil acts as the
primary winding of a transformer and the body tissue acts as the secondary
winding which induces 50 to 100 microamps of current into the location.
such
as the lymph nodes or diseased organ...this current is harmless to healthy
cells

This microcurrent disables viruses, bacteria and pathogens in the tissue in
the same way that the blood purifier does in the blood...

 Hi Marshall
With the Beck Devices it's just a matter of not taking toxic substances
and treat yourself until you have completely recovered...Problems
that are not in the blood takes a little longer and the magnetic pulser
is required for lymph node and tumor recovery as you have to
treat the areas affected...good magnetic power projection is
required for the pulser and colloidal silver to help the immune system.

CSHerbal remedies and FDA

2000-06-21 Thread rob gr

Watch out for those Experts!!!

Herbal Remedies: Helpful or Harmful?

Experts Call for Government Regulation of Alternative Medicines

By Liza Jane Maltin
WebMD Medical News

June 12, 2000 -- Americans are turning more and more often to herbal
remedies as a natural alternative to drugs. But before you head off to the
health food store for that bottle of St. John's wort or kava kava, you
should know that natural does not necessarily mean safer. In fact, evidence
is mounting that some of the most popular herbs can have serious side
effects.

Now, a team of researchers has collected all the information available --
from clinical trial results to FDA warnings to individual physician's
reports -- on several of the most widely used herbs, and created a set of
guidelines that doctors and patients can use to protect themselves. Their
complete report appears in the Spring issue of the Journal of
Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neuroscience.

The bottom line is that these herbal medications are purported to be
harmless, but that's an incorrect myth. [Reports about individuals] and
letters to the editors in various medical journals have documented that
these are in fact not harmless, says lead author W. Curt LaFrance Jr., MD,
who is with the departments of neurology and psychiatry at Brown University
School of Medicine in Providence, R.I.

St. John's wort, for example, which can indeed be useful in mild or moderate
depression, has now been implicated in heart transplant rejection.
Apparently, LaFrance explains, the herb can render anti-rejection drugs
ineffective. Kava kava, which has been shown to successfully relieve
insomnia and anxiety, can also cause patients on various psychiatric drugs
like Valium and Librium to become severely disoriented. And the list of side
effects and drug interactions continues to grow.

Unlike prescription drugs, which are closely regulated by the FDA, herbal
products are considered food and are not required to undergo rigorous animal
and human testing before being placed on the market. It is entirely up to
the consumer to seek out information before deciding to take an herbal
product, but most consumers are not doing the research. And they're not
talking to their doctors, either, LaFrance tells WebMD.

Although doctors should be making every effort to learn exactly which drugs
-- chemical or herbal -- their patients are taking, patients must do their
part as well, says LaFrance. People worry that their doctor will scoff at
their use of an alternative medicine, he says, so they put themselves at
unnecessary risk by not mentioning it.

I think there is potential for these herbal medications, so I wouldn't
throw the baby out with the bath water, says LaFrance. But it needs to be
cautiously monitored. Herbs may come from a garden rather than a
laboratory, but they are bioactive substances with the potential to do good
and the potential to harm, he says. The bottom line is that they should be
regulated.

Watch out for that bottom line...

it not true that a small child's immune system actually needs infections

Subject: CSNY Board of Health checked my CS

Hi,

Well, the NY Board of Health checked my Colloidal Silver last Friday. The
doctor said to my nephew, do you know that this can turn a person blue
(expected typical response). When they ruled out that CS could be the
reason

for the symptoms that the baby had, they went ahead with the intravenous
immune globulin treatment and he responded favorably right away. For
anyone
who is not familiar with Kawasaki Disease, the treatment must be given
within

ten days or there is a risk of heart disease - untreated patients develop
weak coronary arteries. A caution to parents with small children - an
association between exposure to rug shampooing and Kawasaki disease has not
been confirmed in recent studies. Kawasaki disease is now the leading cause
of acquired heart disease in children in the United States. Rheumatic fever
used to be the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. There
is

no specific lab test that definitively diagnoses Kawasaki disease. The
diagnosis is established by meeting certain criteria.

Because of my experience with this whole affair and the fact that this
disease seems to be rampant, I would recommend taking precaution when
giving

colloidal silver to children under the age of two. I believe that it may
have masked some of the symptoms that the doctors were looking for before
they treated him for the disease. His eyes were clear and there were no
enlarged lymph nodes (which I attribute to the CS taken orally and in ears)
so they thought he had something else and delayed treatment for a few days.
As a matter of fact, the doctor saw him on a Friday and diagnosed an ear
infection and when he went to the emergency room on Monday (last week), the
ear infection was gone. There was a three month old baby in the crib next
to

my nephew who was not so lucky - they waited 14 days before treating and he
has heart damage already. We will never know how much the colloidal silver
would have helped if continued.

Thanks to all who offered kind words and support - I really appreciate it.

Dotsie

There has been some study done on using Flagyl for this reason.

It kills the cyst form, but has no effect on the spirochetal stage.
It (Flagyl) must be used in combo with Zithromax or tetracyclin,or
 doxycyclin.

Supposedly three months of this combo will take care of the LYme.
I tried it. I was well into my 6th week when my heart went nuts.
 Ended me in ICU.

Found out later, this is an extreme herx reaction and will eventually
pass, as the Lyme dies off. Yipes!!

Roger,

I'm not sure there is much stable at the temp of silver vaporisation.
However there is a point at the arc/plasma water interface where the
temp is low enough to fix whatever species is found there, 150degC for
silver oxide.

This implies that silver must be broken into atomic ions in order for
chelation to take place, and the loose attraction of small CS aggregates
probably promotes this process.

Please excuse me as I am new to this list and I am not a scientist, but in
reading the above a thought came to mind:

what if a plant could be fed high levels of CS, thus allowing the
plant to break the silver down into a more usable form by us humans. Would
this make sense or am I way off in my sudden ah-ha moment?--afterall the
mind of man is inferior to the mind of nature(Dr. Bill Nelson).

Anyway, as to the doctor/scientist/inventor mentioned above, I will
paraphrase from my notes from one of his seminars:

the mineral kingdom has weak bonds and man was not meant to take in
minerals, but plants--yes--they take in minerals and create CoValiant bonds
which are strong bonds. Since we need higher energy, that is man being
quantic in nature and needing quantic energy---

should we not get this through plants? Is this even possible with silver
and if so would it still have the effect of being a germicidal?

Does any of this make sense or am I way of base here?

I SAW IN A BOOK IF YOU USE VERY DILUTE AMOUNTS OF SILVER IT WON'T HARM
THE INTESTINAL FLOURA BUT I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SUCH SMALL
AMOUNTS WOULD DO ANY GOOD EITHER BECAUSE BASED ON SOME STUDIES I SAW IT
TAKES 40 PPM AS A BACTERIOSTATIC BUT THATS IN DIRECT CONTACT. THE RATS
WERE GIVEN MUCH MUCH HIGHER DOSES LIKE 1500 PPM AND MORE WITH NO TOXIC
EFFECTS. I AM AFRAID THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE HERE KNOW THE ANSWER BECAUSE
THERE ARE FEW STUDIES AND HARD TO FIND. THE BEST IS FROM SOMEONE WHO
HAS SUCESSFULLY DEALT WITH THESE THINGS OF COURSE. THE EPA LEVELS FOR
TOXICITY ARE OVER 350 OR 400 PPM BUT THEY DON'T SAY HOW MUCH OF IT. YOU
SHOULD CALL THEM. ALSO KEEP TAKING YOUR PROBIOTICS AND IF YOU LET THE
SILVER SOAK INTO YOUR MOUTH IT WON'T GET DOWN TO THE INTESTINES.. I
THINK. SOMEONE MAY CORRECT ME ON THAT BUT ITS A HUNCH THAT MAKES SENSE.

SO ANYHOW ARE YOU AGETTING BETTER YET? HAS IT BEEN A WEEK OR 10 DAYS
YET SINCE THE PROTIOTICS?

GOOD JOB.

ALSO THE STUDY ON THE RATS WAS ONLY FOR 40 DAYS. I'M NOT SHURE ITS A
GOOD IDEA TO TAKE IT FOREVER BUT IF YOU HAVE LYME YOU HAVE TO HAVE
PRIORITIES AND WITH SUCH LITTLE INFO OUT THERE ON SILVER *IE STUDIES
IT CAN BE SCARRY.

GOOD LUCK. HOPE SOMEONE HERE CAN GIVE YOU MORE HELP AS IAM NEW HERE
ALSO.

Subject: CSJust When We Thought HVAC CS Was DOA, Look What Happened.
Date: Fri, 26 May 2000 08:12:27 EDT

List:

Wednesday evening I felt myself coming down with a sore throat (I decided a
year or two ago to stop taking CS prophylactically because it provided poor
systemic protection, in my case anyway) so I started taking a low dc
voltage,

limiting current (ma =1.43, and a bubbler was used during production) CS
(*concentration unknown, but it had a significant Tyndall). However, my
condition steadily worsened. By Thursday afternoon had consumed more than
10

oz. of this CS as the infection spread to my lungs and ears. However, I did
notice some temporary relief (for a few minutes) if I let a mouthful of the
CS trickle down into my throat from a prone position, but that's very
difficult to do for more than a few seconds without swallowing. Enter the
much maligned HVAC CS.

At about 6 pm Thursday evening, I decided to spray ~1 ppm HVAC CS (pH =
4.5,

no Tyndall -- tastes like water despite the low pH) directly into my throat
while breathing deeply through my mouth and trying not to swallow. Using a
spray bottle, (as opposed to the method described above) made it much
easier

to refrain from swallowing, thus allowing the heavier atomized water
particles to coat the surface of my sore throat. In addition, the smallest
of

the water droplets had a reasonable chance of reaching my lungs (breathing
deeply helps too) where the infection was much more severe. Within minutes
I
felt better. I continued to follow this procedure later that evening
(feeling
better and worse during the evening), and during the night as well
(whenever
I got up, I added a few drops of the HVAC CS to each ear as well). By 6 am
I

was 90% better, and now as I write this email (7:30 am. I also took another
shot of my HVAC CS about an hour ago for good measure), I feel I'm
completely normal -- quite dramatic when you consider that I was
practically

climbing the walls for much of yesterday.

Admittedly, this result is a singIe observation, and may not mean that much
by itself. However, I recall that the recent BYU Silver Solution work
showed generally that 5 ppm of this (presumably CS) prep was needed to kill
the various types of bacteria, and 2.5 ppm only inhibited further growth.
So

it is quite surprising that the ~1 ppm HVAC CS did so well in vivo while
the former result was based on in vitro measurments.

If anyone is interested in following up on my recent findings please let me
know and I'll send you a one ounce sample of the same 1 ppm HVAC CS brew
that

I used. BTW, 1 ounce is more than sufficient if it is administered from a
spray bottle which I HIGHLY recommend based on the almost miraculous
results

I observed. Please send my $3 to cover shipping it to you, and most
importantly, please report your observations to list subscribers.

Sure, James!

The basic stuff is, the CS I was taking seemed to hold everything off,
wasn't getting any better, wasn't getting any worse, until I ended up in
ICU

with heart problems. The Docs decided
it was the Lyme, they finally DIAGNOSED it as Lyme, and I took 6 weeks of
IV

Rocephrin.

Felt fabulous!! Back to my old self. My SIL who has never known me
without Lyme, said
she didn't think I was the same person.

Anyhow, I've been doing pretty well, a few little ups and downs, here and
there, but the Doc's
said it was just residual effects, which I believed since it was all joint
pain, or tendon type pain, and it had mostly faded.

About 3 weeks ago, though, I started getting really tired, and spacey.
Then the mood swings, REALLY forgetful, and now my knees and elbows are
aching again. Gee,
seems like I've been down THIS road before, and thought I'd never want to
do

it again. . . . . .

Using substances like PPO to treat infections could also help solve
the
growing problem of antibiotic resistance, says Cowan. The
destruction of
bacteria sensitive to antibiotics is a primary requisite for the
rise of
resistant mutants. Since these compounds don't kill the sensitive
bacteria,
they remain around to compete and crowd out any individual resistant
bacteria that may develop.

Re: CSconductivity/ppm conversion

2000-05-05 Thread rob gr
Well, I am using CS now for Lyme Disease, but I still don't understand how
it works. For one, i wonder what happens to the silver when it is consumed.
Does is distribute throughout the body or does most of it just go out the GI
tract I did read the link you provided. It states ionic silver is very
effective against microrganisms, but it also said it was harmful to fish,
which is a higher life form. Well does this mean there is some danger to
humans too?

Summary
This document is one in a series that establishes ambient water quality
criteria for British Columbia. It includes an overview which is followed by
the main body of the report. This document sets criteria for silver to
protect freshwater and marine aquatic life.

Criteria were not set for human, livestock or wildlife drinking water,
recreational waters, irrigation water or industrial water uses, since,
either suitable data documenting the effects of silver for these uses were
lacking, or the criteria would have been about 1000 times higher than the
aquatic life criteria and therefore redundant.

Silver is most toxic to microscopic organisms or larval forms of aquatic
animals. There is no evidence that silver is naturally transformed to a
hazardous biologically-available form (such as mercury into methyl mercury).
Ionic silver is more toxic to aquatic organisms than silver compounds.
Thiosulphate-complexed silver breaks down to silver sulphide which is less
toxic than the silver ion. Silver criteria are summarized in the chapter on
Recommended Criteria. A more detailed discussion of the criteria is
presented in the main body of the report.

There is really no answer as it is a variable, as you can see from prior

1.6uS/PPM, not because of faith but because it is very conservative - what
