Unfortunately and typically the UK Amazon doesn¹t stock it Del, otherwise I would surely get it. dee From: Del d...@altsystem.com Organization: Alternative Systems Reply-To: silver-list@eskimo.com silver-list@eskimo.com Date: Fri, 23 Nov 2012 18:06:47 -0500 To: silver-list@eskimo.com silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: CSPain Relief (anti-inflammatory) Resent-From: silver-list@eskimo.com silver-list@eskimo.com Resent-Date: Fri, 23 Nov 2012 15:07:10 -0800 I may have posted this before, but I am not sure how many people saw it. I have received amazing relief from long term pain due to a hip injury from a David Williams product called Periva. It is basically an extract of Tumeric and Hops, so it is all natural and you can take it long term with no nasty side effects. You can buy it direct from David William¹s site or also from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Williams-Periva-Supplement-capsules/dp/B0083V8R58/r ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8qid=1353711634sr=8-1keywords=Periva I take two a day WITH FOOD (don¹t take on an empty stomach, tumeric is a powerful spice) and am pain free all day. Everyone is different, but my wife also reports pain relief from this relatively new product, so it is worth a try for those with chronic pain. Del Product Description Clinically shown to quickly, safely, and naturally relieve aches and pains. Let's face it, when you're in pain, you want relief and you want it fast. But you also want something natural that won't have negative effects on your health. Periva is a proprietary blend of two breakthrough natural ingredients that provide fast, effective relief. Perluxan is a unique hops extract containing 30% alpha acids, which have been shown to support the body's natural inflammatory response. Perluxan has been shown in clinical studies to relieve pain quickly. In fact, study participants using Perluxan showed significantly reduced pain in all five movement aspects tested, including walking, lying down, sitting, and going up and down stairs. Meriva is a highly bioavailable form of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. This spice is known for its health promoting properties, but especially for its ability to promote a normal inflammatory response and ease joint and muscle discomfort. The curcumin in Meriva is bound to soy phosphatidylcholine to create a phytosome, which makes it up to 45 times more bioavailable than ordinary curcumin.

Re: CSPain Relief (anti-inflammatory)
The soy in this product is not a whole soy, but is only an extract from soy (phosphatidylcholine) that is combined with the curcumin to create a “phytosome” which is much more bioavailable than the curcumin alone. This process is used to enhance quite a few other herbal extracts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytosome I don’t believe phosphatidylcholine or the resultant phytosomes have any of the negative health implications of a whole soy product such as soy milk, etc. Many members on this list create their own liposomal vit C, according to the Brooks Bradley formula, using soy lecithin (similar to phosphatidylcholine) to achieve liposomal encapsulation and thus much greater bio-availability. Been to a chiropractor several times and a massage therapist. We were at a craft show over the weekend and he was limping with the pain. He went to the vendors lounge and laid down on a couch. Someone took pity on him and gave him two naproxyn sodium (Aleve) which he had never taken before, and he got relief! That seems to be the only thing that has helped. That is not a long term remedy for us, assuredly-- but until we can nail down the root cause and a more natural remedy, it has sure given him much needed relief from the acute pain. Beth H Yes I have root canals but not mold. I now have an acute burning sensation in the buttock (lol) but dont know if this is to do with the shingles or a sciatica problem. I do know that even ibuprofen + codeine dont help it whereas that stops the normal stabbing pains from shingles. I was considering the amitriptylene approach which got rid of my fibromyalgie some years ago although I dont want to. I do know that it is extremely painful. By the liposome preparations do you mean Vit C done in lecithin in a sonic unit, because I have the makings of this? dee
Re: CSPain Relief (anti-inflammatory)
Re: CStick - oregano- shinglesThanks Del and PT-- the Aleve is definitely a short term measure. We'll do some more looking at Periva. I have bulk turmeric that he's been taking daily. Didn't seem to help appreciably. I appreciate the input!
