  Hi Angel.
I added the colloidal copper because it is suppose to
increase collagen production in the skin.
Im not sure what is in the polymer, TriethanolAmine is

an alkanolamine and is classed as such. It is used as
a pH adjuster and emulsifying surfactant as well as a
fragrance ingredient and is also known as TEA and
Trolamine. Triethanolamine is used as a pH balancer in
a variety of different cosmetic products - ranging
from skin lotion, eye gels, moisturizers, shampoos,
  shaving foams etc.
As to your prevous post about using gelatin ,some
gelatin is obtained by boiling the skin, tendons, and
ligaments of animals, mostly cows. If it doesnt say
vegetarian or derived from fish its made from dead
boiled animal parts, dont know it thats considered
  natural or not.

Angel.

Thats normally correct for good CS made with pure water, but the CS I
used was triple brewed so although it was pretty clear it had a lot more
oxide particles than is usually recommended, and then it was mixed in
with a lot of 'impurities'.. i.e. the dissolved Xanthan Gum. I must
admit I dont know if it was the triple brewing or the mixing with
Xanthan that increased the photo sensitivity. Probably both. (An
interesting test would be to mix good clear cs with plain tap water and
see if that makes it more photosensitive. So simple I should have
thought of it earlier.)

Being for topical use I wasn't particularly worried about the color.

hello david,
?
thanks much for sharing your concoction elements.? looks like
it would
really be a useful mix.
?
one question only - you mention that cs is light sensitive and i'm
wondering what makes you think so?
?
mine also turns colors at times but i was assured by ken at silver
puppy
that cs is never affected by light or heat in any way, ever.?

what benefit you are adding the copper?

also, any
idea what the
ingredients are of this product, which you are
recommending?

thanks!

why not use simple, (i think natural !), knox gelatin (for food
consumption - so, it's got to be pretty clean in terms of source, right?

instead of all these things that sound like synthetic something or
other... plymer, triethanolamine... what are these things - actually ?

i use knox gelatin for my face masks weekly.

or for a weaker cs gel product, how about mixing in a bit of very high ppm
with a bit of aloe vera gel?

  any thoughts?

CSRe: CS Gel making

2005-06-26 Thread whay ronnie
I use high ppm CS which has been through three times of normal brewing and make
clear gel with this Gel making kit from this Aussie company.

Allows you to easily make 5 batches of Colloidal Silver Gel (250 ml each),
using a high ppm colloidal silver solution.

How to operate...

Pour 250 ml of a high ppm colloidal silver solution in a glass dish. Empty one
bag of polymer into it, and let it wet (it just takes a few minutes). Then
add a full vial of TriethanolAmine, the solution will quickly turn into a thick
gel. It is that easy!
Cost A$26 for 5 batches of 250ml each. url - www.healththronics.biz

Another link to a CS gel making kit thats here in the
USA. Very similar to the Aussie company kit.
http://www.elixa.com/silver/ointment.htm

Colloidal Silver Ointment

This make a very nice gel, I made some 3 months ago,
no signs of mold yet with no refrigeration. I also
added some homemade colloidal copper to the batch. You
can actually get about 10-12 ounces of gel per batch
with this depending how thick you like it. Its worked
very well for me on insect bites, warts, burns and as
a face cream. For the warts I added some dsmo in a
seperate batch.
Cost is $33 (includes SH in US and CAN), and will
make at least 40oz of gel.
