Sorry Paula, I did not read enough or have enough brain cells to connect the 
chigger Mama posts to Paula.   Please forgive me.

Hope hubby recovers his sanity soon.  CS to his scratching irritations will 
help prevent secondary infection.  We keep some CS in a spray bottle to cover 
and wet larger areas.  

I looked up the Itch Stick that Ode mentioned and it is a muy bland version of 
the disolved Benadryl/diphenhydramine I described.

 Right on, Jodi.  Janet has been on this list before, and has trouble 
getting along with people.  She presents herself as an expert -- and if you 
question her, she gets mad and takes her ball and goes home.  I find her 
condescending.  Too bad, because she's really an intelligent person with a lot

I am using MacAfee Spamkiller and I am completely satisfied with it.  I
don't think you could find a better one for the price.  However, when you
first install it, you have to spend time tuning the filters so they will
do what you want.  After a while, it will eliminate all but the occasional
spam.  You also have to set your mail program NOT to automatically check
your mail, only when you tell it to.  Always run the spam checker just
before receiving your mail.

I noticed that the vast majority of spam has the word mail in the domain
name, so I set it to eliminate those - and this alone catches probably 90%
of the spam that comes through.  The only problem is that an occasional
valid email also can have mail in the domain name, so I have lost a few
legit emails.  However, you can override this by adding specific users as
friends and their mail will be received even if they have something in the
message headers that would normally cause them to be blocked.  You can also
add your entire address book as friends so that none of them will be
blocked.  Finally, you can scan the blocked email to see if any of it is
legitimate and rescue any that you want to keep.  As for this and other
lists I am on, you just add the list as a friend and you will receive all
mail from the list (including any spam directed at the list - but I am
working on that).

You have to be willing to interact with the program, but if you do, it will
eventually do exactly what you want.

Of course, this all takes a certain amount of time.  The quick way to
eliminate spam is to change your email address, and then be very careful
about spreading the new one around.  This is a lot of trouble too, since you
then have to notify everybody of the change.  So there is no easy way.

To all interested list members.  I have an
apology to offer.  Earlier today I posted a message prompted by an
inquiry by Langley Russell, which addressed the amounts of several
substances we used to assist articulating-joint arthritis
complications.  My example for CMO was a simple ratio and
proportionBut I failed to explain the resolution of the equation.
Just multiiply the extremes of the equation  1200 mg :180 lbs. :: x :
dog's wt in lbs.  That is, multiply the outside numbers (1200 X  20 lbs
[dogs wt] = 24000 ).   Then multiply the means (the inside numbers)
X (unknown) by the 180 lbs (human's wt in the posted ratio)  =
180XTherefore 180X  = 24000;   thence  X =   133 mg
[approximately] of CMO for the 20 lb. dog.  This simple ratio and
proportion formula will work for any numbers one plugs in.just so
long as there is only one unknown.

James helped me realize I might have given a false impression I think ALL
sellers of CS are evil,  and that I didn't care if they went out of
business.   I want to apologize if I offended those who are selling CS at a
fair price.  I visited Jame's website and was impressed.  He sells CS and
genertors at a very fair prices.  He's not hiding the fact that you can make
your own at greatly reduced costs.  My bone of contention is just with those
who hide this fact.  I gave James an example of a person who tried to sell
12 24-ounce bottles of CS for $900 to an aquaintence...no mention about
making your ownvery deceptiveoutrageous profitnow that's not
appropriate.

spray method...once a day up the ol' nose...keeps those bugs at bay!

Dear Doug, I`m glad you are for real! We had a nasty person on quite
recently who was out to save us all from the sin of Colloidal Silver...
That hurts, as we are all sincerely using CS in an attempt to get well
again. For many of us it is the last attempt...
I nearly died with my Lyme Disease, and when I say CS saved me, I really do
mean it!!

The humor on this list threw me. Two people posted responses to my
post that seemed genuine. Then everyone poked fun at those two posts.
So I thought I was the brunt of all those jokes. Then I starting
replying to all your posts in a sarcastic way. That was wrong. I
apologize.

Doug,
  I must have missed some posts.  I don't remember seeing anything offensive, 
at least not out of the ordinary from which we are usually faced with.  
  This list is hear to help people deal with there problems and hopefully get 
the message across that CS does help with alot of there problems.  We are all 
still learning all the time.   Our opinions may differ but we all have the 
same goal in mind.  There are probably alot of times we get off topic and 
then other times we just get down right giddy.  You have to let off the 
stress somehow.

To Doug,

   The thing is, Doug, most of us on this list are  in the soup. We're
taking CS because we have a problemm and we want and need to get well. Our
interest is not academic. It's like an oppressed group of people, who can
make fun and laugh at themselves, but the outsider needs to tread more
cautiously. 

   If your interest and desire to learn is sincere, and sincerely grounded
in wanting to know the truth and to assist others, you are most welcome here.
