However, I know exactly what you mean about liver fire rising to the

But, testosterone being changed to dihydrotestosterone (the western
medicine explanation for baldness) sounds very much like depletion of
foundational essence.

Lisa,

Foundational essence probably refers to kidney essence or jing. This
is primordial chi... energy retained through succeeding generations. It
also sometimes refers to sexual energy... very closely related to primordial
essence as this chi is the driving force behind life, our sexual drive, and
our genetic heritage.

CShair growth Craig

2010-02-03 Thread Shirley Reed
Congratulations, Craig! I am also curious as to your dose. I take 10 drops
(at least) of 5% Lugol's every day and frequently 15 or more. At 10 drops that
gives 650 mgs. per day. But I am noticing that if I stay at that dose for a
few days, then cysts begin returning, so I guess I will go to 15 drops per day
and see what happens. I know I have lots of things to detox from, aluminum
being one I am very interested in getting rid of. Loads of mercury too from
previous dental debacles. I consider silver fillings to be unethical in an
absolute sense.I have also noticed that my hair grows like crazy so it
needs cutting more often. The lady who cuts it always remarks about how
healthy it is. I am glad you reported your results because extraordinary
experiences are often challenged and it feels good to have some back-up. :)

2010-02-03 Thread Craig Chamberlin

Hi PJ,

I ramped up to 75mg fairly quickly (and suffered with detox for a good
while), and stayed there until tests were at an acceptable level
(~8mths), then moved down to 25mg, which I continue to take...most
days...but always 12.5mg per day though:) Total time elapsed has been a
couple of years. I don't think I was as toxic as a lot of folks.

I don't know how to make a comparison between Iodoral and Lugol's
however. That would require Marshall or someone else:)

When you refer to cysts, I presume you are talking about fibrous cysts?

My wife's fibrous breast cysts melted in about two weeks @50mg/day.

If I have overlooked anything thump me again:)

Regards,

Craig

One of my buddies also said his hair was thinning due to liver fire

fire would be more of an excess condition. If your face is red and

However, I know exactly what you mean about liver fire rising to the

But, testosterone being changed to dihydrotestosterone (the western

Hi PJ,

I ramped up to 75mg fairly quickly (and suffered with detox for a good
while), and stayed there until tests were at an acceptable level (~8mths),
then moved down to 25mg, which I continue to take...most days...but always
12.5mg per day though:) Total time elapsed has been a couple of years. I
don't think I was as toxic as a lot of folks.

I don't know how to make a comparison between Iodoral and Lugol's however.
That would require Marshall or someone else:)

When you refer to cysts, I presume you are talking about fibrous cysts?

My wife's fibrous breast cysts melted in about two weeks @50mg/day.

If I have overlooked anything thump me again:)

CShair growth

2010-02-02 Thread Shirley Reed
After taking pretty high doses of Lugol's iodine for over 3 years, I am
getting more hair growth. I am a 67 year old female who had/has hypothyroidism

definitely shows it. I no longer use thyroid meds and have not for at least 2
or 3 years. Shortly after beginning Lugol's, I quit it. With the use of,
first, Synthroid and shortly after that, Armour natural, the quality of my hair
improved and hair loss stabilized or stopped. But only now am I getting hair
regrowth that is, I think, quite remarkable. Even my eyebrows are growing in
again and they were few before. My frontal hairline is so much thicker that I
am having to pin back over half of bangs to let them grow out 'cause the bangs
are way too thick now!! It seems possible to me that the increasing problems
with hair loss is very likely to be the diminishing levels of iodine we are
experiencing. It has taken several years
to see this regrowth but it is happening and at my age!! Pretty surprising
and worth the wait. I do lots of other things healthwise, but I am certain
that the iodine is a pivotal supplement. Best wishes, pj

Another thing about iodine that I didn't realize until I realized it: We have
been using sea salt for a few years now, because it is more natural than
processed salt like Morton's. Well it may be more natural, but it also does
not contain added iodine as iodized processed salt does. So now we suspect
strongly that we are both lacking in iodine, and we have a lot of the symptoms
of hypothyroidism. Sheesh.

hair. Also, my hair color has changed from silvery to a silvery-black

And like you, I no longer take any thyroid supplements.

My hair cut lady can't believe it:)

Re: CSHair Growth

2010-02-02 Thread John E. Stevens
Hi, Pat:

For many years science has touted that baldness is hereditary. I question
that - as I question everything. My third grade teacher scared the hell out
of me when she said: If your Mom's Dad is bald, you're going to be bald.
I thought, wow, ain't that grand and I tried to picture myself bald. And it
left it's mark on me even though baldness hasn't occurred and I'm 68 with a
full head if blond hair.

I think there may be a lot of reasons for baldness. I remember counseling a
lady back in the '70's who was losing her hair. I suggested a good vitamin
B complex at that time and it helped. I would add a lot more to that old
protocol, today.

I think it's a matter of nutrition (which, again I think, should be organic
and natural), possible stress, lifestyle, environmental contaminants, the
amount of sleep one gets, lack of proper supplementation (and you should, I
think, create a custom supplementation program that addresses your
individual family history and possible hereditary weaknesses within your own
family's history - everyone is different), and the type of work one does (we
shouldn't be ripping people off at our jobs or taking advantage of folks -
that stress builds, too). Satisfaction and contentment, a good sense of
humor - your entire lifestyle is at play here and it affects the entire
person.

Have you noticed more people are going bald now than ever before and at
younger ages than ever before - in the time I've been alive, anyway? What
do you attribute that to? Just heredity? Natural causes. Hmmmnnn... I
don't think so. I can't prove it, but I don't think so. What do you think
causes it?

CSHair Growth

2010-02-01 Thread Paul Bond
I know in my attempts to save my hair over the years, the successful things
only really grew hair that was very recently gone, and not full width
either, as the follicle had shrunk. I did try silver for a couple of months
when I first heard about it, but it had zero effect on me. I couldn't see
how it would, but wishful thinking and all that. Protecting existing hair
has more possibilities (not that I do anything any more).

Re: CSHair Growth?

2010-02-01 Thread Richard Goodwin
Funny you should mention that -- I was going to bring it up. I have managed to
grow back quite a bit of hair by daily spraying with CS for 3 years now. And I
know another guy who has done the same thing with even more success than I have.

in by using CS on the scalp? I know Robert Becker was said to have done so,
but I don't understand why more guys don't try it. It would be a fantastic

Since CS is mostly just killing germs and viruses, I'm not sure I wonder how

Right! According to the article below they prevent and reverse bone loss.

While the article is long it is well worth the read. Here is an excerpt that

SNIP . . . . .Aside from existing drug therapies, certain lifestyle and
nutritional factors are known to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Among
nutritional factors, recent observations suggest that dried plum, or prunes

reversing bone loss.

RE: CSHair Growth?

2010-02-01 Thread Norton, Steve

Actually, It doesn't increase HGH specifically, but increases IGF-1

http://www.osteopenia3.com/Osteopenia-dried-plums.html

In addition to the animal studies, our 3-month clinical trial indicated that
the consumption of dried plum daily by postmenopausal women significantly
increased serum markers of bone formation, total alkaline phosphatase,
bone-specific alkaline phosphatase and insulin-like growth factor-I by 12, 6,
and 17%, respectively.

I got this description of IGF-1 from another site:

What is IGF-1?
IGF-1 stands for Insulin-like Growth Factor 1. IGF-1 is also known as
Somatomedin-C. As important as HGH is, it does not last long in our
bloodstream. In just a few short minutes our liver absorbs HGH and converts it
into growth factors. IGF-1 is the most important growth factor that is
produced. So, IGF-1 is a hormone just like HGH, but it is easier to measure in
the body because it stays in our bloodstream longer than HGH. You can think of
HGH as the hormone that gets the ball rolling, but IGF-1 does most of the work.

I came across the IGF-1 link while researching osteoporosis. See:

http://www.betterbones.com/blog/post/update-on-prunes-reversing-bone-loss.aspx

Given how much some people spend to increase HGH, I think prunes are a cost
effective alternative and the observable increase of bone density demonstrates
that the increase in IGF-1 is in therapeutic amount. Plus there is the high
ORAC value and fiber in prunes.

Seems like everybody's a skinhead these days... Even if they don't want to

hair health, I think, too, as well as overall health in general.

LOL, Steve, I really like prunes too. I was mainly
referring to the laxative effect they have. I
could eat the whole container if it weren't for
the fact that I know what will happen later if I
over indulge. And two or three is enough to get me
going if things get stopped up. But if ten or
twelve could be split up into three or four with
each meal, maybe the laxative effect wouldn't be
too bad? :D

As for food, try chinese sea cucumber, black chicken, black rice, black sesame,

nutritional factors, recent observations suggest that dried plum, or

Bob Becker was electrocuted and lived through it. He attributed his new red
hair growth and his full head of hair (when he was bald previously) to being
electrocuted as far I recall. My hair was all gray when I turned 30. It's
now all blond again, the color blond when I was about ten years old. I
attribute that to HGH activator which I've been using for about five years -
2 - 3 times a week. It's full, no bald spots, and thicker for a guy who has
thin hair. I also use Alta silica which I know is good for hair, nails and
bones. Not too shabby for a 68 yr old dude, huh?

hair growth on my knee and wondered how on earth I kept missing shaving it. I
figured it was because it was numb. Turns out it was just growing super fast.

If someone could find a way for men (and some women) to grow hair, they might
be rich! Baldness on a woman is a rough thing to deal with (I know a couple
whose hair is getting very thin.) I do like bald heads on some guys, though.

RE: CSHair Growth?

2010-01-31 Thread Lisa
Hi John,

I'd love to hear about what/which HGH activator (and where to buy).and even
where to buy the alta silica. I'm a 44 yr old female which has lost a patch
of hair on the forefront of my scalp (due to what I believe is thyroid
issues...and possibly even an attempt of hcg weight loss - which ultimately
failed). I'd absolutely be thrilled to get my hair back.and the color would
be a bonus, although I don't have too much gray!

Pat:

Bob Becker was electrocuted and lived through it. He attributed his new red
hair growth and his full head of hair (when he was bald previously) to being
electrocuted as far I recall. My hair was all gray when I turned 30. It's
now all blond again, the color blond when I was about ten years old. I
attribute that to HGH activator which I've been using for about five years -
2 - 3 times a week. It's full, no bald spots, and thicker for a guy who has
thin hair. I also use Alta silica which I know is good for hair, nails and
bones. Not too shabby for a 68 yr old dude, huh?

The HGH precursors are so expensive or I'd be tempted to use them.

Ya have to block DHT and it can be done with
supplements for some folks. Biotin is a good place
to start;)

DIM might help too it balances the hormones.
Dagnabbit, I was just reading a page not long ago
about supplements that actually do help block the
way testosterone is turned into DHT. I'll have to
look for it again.

Since CS is mostly just killing germs and viruses, I'm not sure I wonder
how exactly it is supposed to help. Any ideas?

CShair growth

2000-11-06 Thread Annhope1
I suspect that coloring my hair with those horrible chemicals for many,
many years may have damaged the roots, and possibly my brains too.  Am
dumping CS on my head everyday in hopes that your theory is the right one,
but if not I will certainly have the most bacteria, virus -free head in
town.  alot cheaper than shampoo to boot. Will surely give you a report at
first sign of a thicker head of grey hair.
Nancy...

 Nancy,
Fact: the scalp gets less bloodflow as we get older and a very simple
remedy for thinning hair is to massage the head daily. Laying down on
couch/bed with head over the edge so bloodflow reaches that area easier and
massage vigoursly .. keeping comfort in mind. My own father has done this
and swears he saw hair regrow upwards of the temple region, where it had not
been before. Hes 83 and still has most of his hair.
