I think you can buy them on line as it seems I have seen them on a web site before. If you need the name of the health food store, I would be glad to find out. Many stores will mail you their product for a small fee.The ones in the health food store came with some warnings I remember.I agree that the probiotics might be causing problems due to the milk aspect. I think that the natren brand also has a milk free product. If not, there are plenty other probiotics that do. Some probiotics also come with digestive enzymes included in the product which might be helpful with the digestion of the lactose. Thanks to everyone who helped with the emu oil question.

Sorry, but Paw-paw is a native North American fruit, Papaya is from the tropics, and is the one with the digestive enzyme, papain, in the seeds. Dry and grind them in a pepper mill. -- The real trouble with this world of ours is not that it is an unreaonable world, nor even that it is a reasonable one. Carica papaya. Common Name:Pawpaw, Paw Paw, Papaw, Poor Man's Banana, Hoosier Banana, etc. (In Australia the tropical papaya, Carica papaya, is also known as Pawpaw). The one that grows through out the American southwest is considered toxic, this IMO, is due to the action of the enzymes. The toxic one has been used in conjunction with fermenting kombucha tea and taken as a cancer remedy (not FDA approved) and is mentioned in Harald Tietze Kombucha books as well as made popular by the Australia's Kombucha House (TM) . The entire fruit may be used. At any rate buy organic papaya at your local super market. and as Mark says grind the seeds. Ed Kasper -Original Message- From: Mark S. Is it true that bitter almonds are not allowed to be sold here in the US, as I've seen mentioned on-line? I'd like to know a source for ordering.
