If your eyes don't sting a bit, the neb isn't getting the CS all the way
up into the sinuses.

Re: CS>CS for injection (UNCLASSIFIED)

2010-03-04 Thread Tony Moody
Hi Bob,

Sinus flush with CS.
Yes I have done that, but not usually. Just used CS/EIS to replace the
water. It may do some extra good. Trouble is that CS battles to penetrate
snot so I guess it would benefit cleaned sinus surfaces but its not going
to do much against anything with a cover layer of mucous. Anyway I think
it should be an excellent adjunct and will use CS/EIS as the 'water' in
future. I think it was Brooks Bradley who instigated this idea of VitC
and Bicarb solution.

Hey, adding CS is worth a try if the sinus tissues are inflamed or
infected. It would be good to leave some silver soaked into the mucous,
just lurking about to zap any microbes that emerge. Maybe silver chloride
would be better here, I guess the silver chloride 'salt solution' may
penetrate the mucous better that plain CS? Anyone know? Someone said
silver chloride is only 1/10 effective compared to CS/EIS. Sodium
chloride solution would work well as a mucous penetrant.

I've also used a small amount of H2O2 added ( just enough to foam
slightly on the tongue). But the gains are small in my case, in terms of
heavy duty flushing out dust and mould . Should be good for controlling
infection.

Thinks: maybe a daily single flush of Vitc and Bicarb in CS with a few
drops of H2O2 and Xylitol would work well to keep the passages clean and
well maintained. Could add some DMSO to that too.

In my limited experience the least involved and most effective is VitC
and Bicarb weak warm solution for a cleanout. And it loosened old crusted
bloody scabby black stuff . But only after many flushes and blows.

OK,
Tony

My humidifier has a 4.5 liter tank, so I add 80 ml of 35% H2O2.
The "recipe" I found was in a book was you take 1 gallon of water and add 16
oz of 3% H2O2.

Hope that helped.

Hi Bob,

Nasal flushing.
I've had great success using a mix of vit C and Bicarb. What I'm doing
is 2g ascorbic acid powder plus a teaspoonful of bicarb in a cup of warm
water. Stir well. I do many flushes at a time. use a 50ml syringe with a
short length of silicon tube and do one nostril, snort out, then the
other, over and and over til the cup is done. This is profoundly better
than doing one or two nostril flushes.

OK,
Tony

Re: CS>CS for injection (UNCLASSIFIED)

2010-03-04 Thread sol
Have you tried CS with about 5 % DMSO in a neti pot? Using a neti pot
to completely flush the sinuses with the mix might just do the trick.

What was the (I believe it was 2) CS that was good for injection.
How would one use CS for injection.
I am troubled by sinus infections from time to time.
The cs I take does not appear to get to my sius's.
I do use a Nebulizer with cs in it.
I breath in through mouth and out of nose.
When I am done my nose is wet from cs.
