The reason he came back so strong was a low time in an early round. He made up that time in round 7. He flew great. Rick Bothell RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Re: [RCSE] Wing bolts
Check the magazine ads or do a search for Micro Fasteners. They carry a huge variety of fasteners and sell in small quantities. Chances are you'll find more than just the pieces you're looking for! Schpot-Dorker not withstanding, the Europeans sure aren't very good at coming up with cool names...unless you don't mind flying a plane named after a tree, or a fish. Tom Watson wrote: > Atrium...? Try Microfasteners at www.mircofasteners.com. True, you'll have to pay shipping, but you can probably get a lifetime supply of bolts for around $5.00. [RCSE] Zagi Construction tips?
I just received a zagi, my first wing.of course I couldn't wait, and pulled the cores to check it all out 5 minutes after receiving the package. First thing I noticed is that the epp foam leading edges don't meet in the wing centerthere's about a 3/16th gap. Should I leave it, glue a little piece in, sand the cores down till it does meet? Also, I remember seeing zagi tips somewhere.a web site perhaps? Thanks, Matt RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[RCSE] Need Carbon Help!!
I am building a set of cores with a 48" spar, and the cores are 66" long each panel and I would like to add carbon to the spar. And I have seen wide carbon placed over the tops of the spar a few inches wide and so far out. What I'm needing help with is how thick should I use for capping the spar top and bottom and how thick and wide and long should I use to lay on top of the cores and vacuumed down under the Obechi? Re: [RCSE] Stylus and Glider Card manuals....Can I borrow, Please?
Go Ben! Plus, if they didn't have a person filling manual orders, that would be less overhead, more profit for the company, which they could pass on to the end consumers.us ;-) Tom, Send them to my work: Matt Lydon FCG MS 333 East 38th Street, 2nd Floor New York, NY. 10016 Thanks, Matt - Original Message - From: "Ben Diss" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Tom Broeski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, February 05, 2001 7:14 AM Subject: Re: [RCSE] Stylus and Glider Card manualsCan I borrow, Please? > Not so Tom. > > In about 5 minutes they could install PDF Writer and in another 30 minutes have the manuals printed to a PDF. Next step is to create a link on the web page taking and store the file somewhere on the server. This takes maybe 10 minutes. They've already got someone writing the manuals so they don't need to hire anybody to create the PDF. Re: [RCSE] Re:Southwest Classic scores
The overall scores are at: http://www.users.qwest.net/~slickraft/swc2001.2.htm I will try to post a full review with some pics by Wednesday. It's Monday night and I just got in from doing the remaining paperwork and picking up my last load of equipment from Schnepf Farms. For those who don't know, this site is not an R/C field normally. CASL has to rent the facilities for the four days we are on site and truck in everything on Thursday and get it all back to our regular club field on Sunday night. It's quite a feat for the CASL crew but we are getting pretty good at it. Planes Flown: I made up a form to list the planes flown but we were pretty busy and never quite got to it. If pilots want to email me privately with the info I will compile the list of planes flown and add it to the upcoming results page. Got to get some rest. Re: [RCSE] most popular moldie?
John, Of the three you have listed I would go with the Sharon, but since you allowed for picking my own choice as well I would have to vote for the Jaro Muller Escape. It is more money but in this case you get what you pay for. I also have a Muller Ellipse 4 on order and may have to change my vote after it gets here :) See Ya, Pat McCleave Wichita, KS RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. RE: [RCSE] Re:Southwest Classic scores
This is indicitive of the real variable, and Sal said it. In any contest where all the planes are of similar quality. it doesn't matter what you fly, its the pilot behind the equipment that counts. Save your money, buy what you like to fly, a plane that doesn't intimidate you and you will have a better chance of winning. If winning is your thing. If buying or having "stuff" is your thing, or selling is your thing, then disregard!
