RE: [RCSE] **** Mini elipse question

2003-09-07 Thread Stefan Smets
Title: Bericht

Here's
the site from Euromodell: http://www.euromodell.de/(also in
English).

On
first sight, I didn't find an indication there for the CG. I also checked the
manual of my Mini-Ellipse, and there's a long explanation about CG and angle of
incidence, but it's in German and hard to translate.

In the
end, they advise to set the CG to 65mmwith the elevator 1mm up-trim giving
the best general performance. The CG-range is from 62mm to
72mm.

Good
luck; it's a great plane. I still love mine (it's an electro) and I intend to
buy a pure glider-version sooner or later.

Stefan.

mini elipse, and was wondering if anyone knows where the CG is supposed to
be. I bought it without any instruction sheet/s. Or if you
know of any website which has instructions (I already looked at
gliderking.com), that will also be much appreciated.Thank you in

Re: [RCSE] Eclipse 7 and 4 servo wing

2003-09-07 Thread Thomas Koszuta
Terry,

Sorry for the delay. No. You cannot get full camber from one switch.
Even with the firmware version upgrade (1.2 - if it doesn't tell you the
version ist is older).

My only method of doing this is to count clicks on the VR1. You may
want to call Hitec and ask them direct. Maybe with enough calls they will
add it to another firmware release.

 Hi All,
Is it possible to get full camber by moving just 1 switch? I can get the
flaps to move up and down with the flt mode switch, but I can't get the
ailerons to follow. I can get full camber with the VR1 knob, but of
course
want this function with a switch.
 Thanks, Terry
