What you put up today will most likely be the *exact* bits/files we release. So updates to CHANGES/README should be made and a branch should be created, and the Solr RC built from that. Yep, I was originally thinking the Lucene bits were named something other than what the final bits would be named, but they are not. They are, in fact, the final bits.
