Metadata is fetched separately form a different site from audio. LMS will rememebr the URL whi has the associated metadata butmetetada provision is speare from playing audio. When testing stick to trying to play the URL https://radio.streemlion.com:2295/stream Do not use Tune-in plugin or menus as it seems to be confusing the issue. If you can stop LMS and delete the LMS cache (cache.db) - that should remove all LMS cached data. Then after LMS is restarted, only test by playing the strremlion URL. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113026 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

For completeness, try rebooting pcp and possibly router. So a reboot of both the server and router has not fixed the issue. "Interestingly" if I browse for the station via the "Radio" menu option it appears and displays the song that is currently playing. However when I try to play it on a device it has the song that was playing last time I added it to a queue, see attached image. 31764 It looks like something is being cached by the system. +---+ |Filename: Atlantic252.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31764| +---+ bobcoupee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70646 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113026 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The old build was running fine, so I just ignored it. But D&D perl5.18 into Full Disk Access solved this for me as well. The trick is you have to do it from Finder, and not from the System Pref pane, as the latter does not allow you to access system/protected files for some reason. Those files protected files can be accessed via a standard Finder pane, by using the (Cmd + Shift + . (dot)) command. Then it's a simple D&D into Full Disk Access and a system restart. ... I must say, running LMS on a Mac in 2020 is increasingly a labor of love. Like running a steeplechase race. Once Big Sur hits, I'm sure we'll have a new thread and new set of obstacles and closed doors to navigate. sgmlaw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13995 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111037 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I have finally managed to successfully build and test the Net-SSLeay 1.88 module with OpenSSL 1.1.1h and zlib support. To help troubleshooting during development I modified SystemInfo.pm to print the version info for the modules I've updated. Code: Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.0 - TRUNK @ UNKNOWN Hostname: T430 Server IP Address: 192.168.1.27 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows 10 - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 8664 Perl Version: 5.14.2 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Audio::Scan: 1.02 Mozilla::CA: 20200520 Net::SSLeay: 1.88 - OpenSSL 1.1.1h 22 Sep 2020 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.068 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Total Players Recognized: 2 The tipping point was the 'build log file for the Net-SSLeay 1.74 update' (https://ppm4.activestate.com/MSWin32-x86/5.14/1400/M/MI/MIKEM/Net-SSLeay-1.74.d/log-20160413T002508.txt) provided by ActiveState (AS) back in 2016. From the log I was able to determine that AS used Visual Studio 6.0 and likely Platform SDK (February 2003), 'the last version to support VS6' (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Filter_SDK/Compile_AviSynth#Installing_MS_VC.2B.2B_1998) when building AS Perl 5.14. To get OpenSSL 1.1.1h to build with VS6 required changing all occurances of long long datatypes to __int64 and all LL format specifiers to i64. Attempts to build openssl with a newer MS compiler to avoid these changes have failed, so far, with link errors when creating SSLEAY.DLL for the Net-SSLeay module. I have created a perl package manager repository for windows with Net-SSLeay 1.88, IO-Socket-SSL 2.068 and Mozilla-CA SSL certificates from May 2020. Code: http://ralph.irving.sdf.org/ppm4/MSWin32-x86/5.14/1400/ One issue I ran into updating Net-SSLeay was that if I ran LMS on the system before attempting to install the updated module, SSLeay.DLL file was locked and could not be updated. I had to disable LMS from starting at boot, reboot windows, then install Net-SSLeay 1.88. I noticed 'bpa mentioned possible issues with IO-Socket-SSL 2.068 and OpenSSL 1.1.1e' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?109826-BBCiPlayer-V1-6-(and-higher)-amp-BBCiPlayerExtra-2-0-(and-higher)-Support&p=990450&viewfull=1#post990450). Perhaps the issue(s) have been fixed with later versions as I've been running Net-SSLeay-1.88, OpenSSL 1.1.1h with IO-Socket-SSL 2.068 with LMS on Linux x86 for the last week without a problem. @Michael, I'd like to suggest that you install all three modules from the repo on the build system, replacing the IO-Socket-SSL and Mozilla-CA zips we exchanged earlier. I created the PPM packages from the same folder structure that I sent you, then we will all be using the same release files going forward. The older package and ppd files from AS are on the website as well in case we need to rollback. I didn't include them in the repo index as I found it confusing for anyone not familiar with the Perl Package Manager. I've only been using the new perl modules for a day now on win10 so it really needs more testers. Anyone running LMS from git on windows can add the repo url in PPM and install the updated modules. To rollback download the .tar.gz and .ppd files and from a command prompt with perl in the PATH run *ppm install oldpackage.ppd* Ralphy *1*-Touch, *5*-Classics, *3*-Booms, *1*-UE Radio 'Squeezebox client builds' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/) 'donations' (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=LL5P6365KQEXN&lc=CA&item_name=Squeezebox%20client%20builds¤cy_code=USD&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donate_SM%2egif%3aNonHosted) always appreciated. ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111658 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Radio Station Not Streaming via LMS
Hi I cannot stream the station Atlantic 252 Classics via LMS. This station is available via the TuneIn PlugIn. LMS finds the station and can update its info to show what is playing but does not stream. I have used the "TuneIn Radio Options" and tried a different stream but it makes no difference. I have manually added the stream (obtained from the More Info URL) and that also fails. I have checked and the station is playable directly on the web, via the TuneIn website and via the TuneIn Service for my Sonos speakers. Any ideas why this station might not stream correctly via my LMS server to a Squeezelite player? I am using PiCorePlayer version v6.1.0. Squeezelite is v1.9.7-1270-pCP. LMS is 8.0.0 - 1601129375. This station used to work fine. I am trying to find other stations that are streamed via StreamLion to see if it is a problem with that host - but with no luck. Other stations play fine via the TuneIn plugin. Thanks in advance. bobcoupee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70646 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113026 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
