ANother potential fix (?) among the info in that thread is to export an xml file from the new Apple Music app which replaced iTunes as a workaround of some sort. Again, I'm well over my head here, but could this help me to get functionality of hte external drives Music? THanks for pointing me to that thread, I've been trying to make sense of it already, but I'm grateful. In there, it discusses getting LMS full disk access (which seems to be the problem) but I cannot understand how to do so. One post indicates you should give full disk access to perl, but unless it's done via Terminal, I can't tell how one would do so. DO you have any insight into what I'm missing? LMS 7.9.4 NOT LOADING LIBRARY ON EXTERNAL DRIVE (IMAC OS 10.15.7): I had been enjoying several Squeezebox Radios using LMS (often using iPeng) for 10+ years. After a move and upgrading my Mac to OS 10.15.x, I hadn't run it in several years. Now I can't get LMS to recognize and load my music library on an external drive (USB 3.0), although the external drive appears in the media folder. When I rescan none of the external files are loaded. LMS recognizes and loads music files on my System Hard Drive, but can't seem to see those on my external drives (i've tried a few) I've tried searching the forum and the internet for how to solve this problem, but I haven't found a solution (or I don't understand the tech to do so). Can anyone help me to solve this issue? I have more than 20,000 albums in my library, but that's never been an issue prior. Same problem her since using LMS 8 ... LMS 8 @ QLogitech 2.21.00 SB Radio and SB2 Most popular german radio stations can't be played anymore. Non of my daily heared favs work. On LMS it looks like stream will start to play but nothing to hear. For me it looks like an problem regarding TuneIn, as other directly inserted urls seem to work. No hints at the LOG. Does LMS know that the player is having problems (e.g. via some sort of feedback in SlimProto)? If yes - then maybe a LMS enhancement could be to temporarily switch to proxying for the duration of this stream. Hello! I am using LMS 8.0.0-1601590552. I can not tell if this was the case before, but now "Elvis Costello" is sorted under "C", but "Elvis Costello & The Attractions", "Elvis Costello & The Imposters" and "Elvis Presley" are sorted under "E". I looked in every song of "Elvis Costello" and there is no Tag set which has something to do with sorting. What am I doing wrong?
