[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] PCM or FLAC for Spotty Ogg Vorbis streams
Is it better and easier to stream to PCM or FLAC from a my Spotty streaming Ogg Vorbis. Easier loads on my network. How do I make the changes. I cannot seem to make the change on the PCM section of Ogg Vorbis and Spotty. Disabling PCM stops the playback all together. Actually @mherger I copy pasted the response from @dlandon from Unraid forums. His argument is that an upgrade to Audio:Scan 1.06 should be done by the LMS developers. He has updated the LMS from official channels. Is there a way to have a library view by codecs. That way I can look at the albums that are scanned and feature in the LMS library view Thank you. I have a ton of OPUS files on my UNRAID server. Through my library scans, i see that it does not pick up any OPUS, OGG files into my library. I have 1 album that has scanned and it features into my library and it plays well too. Why not the rest of the albums ? Please help. This is strange. I tried the stock version and the player played well all day and then started doing the same thing. The music stopped playing after 1 track. The player has a 50 sec buffer and it still does not play after one track. The iPeng from a Local music plays perfectly Any help ? Thank you. The stock version works perfect. Digging deeper, the setting for buffer was increased to 10 MB which in a streaming situation like Spotify does not work. Its currently at 100 milliseconds and works perfect. I am trying to play music via PiCorePlayer and RPI3B+ and a PiDesign 502Dac I have the latest Squeeze Server and PiCorePlayer software. Spotify via Spotty stops playing after 1 song. Squeezelite playing my local NAS music via SqueezeServer is OK. I also tried Max2Play and it works fine via Spotify(Spotty) and Squeezelite(Local NAS). Hi @michael I have uploaded again. The problem is thats iPeng playback is great but SPOTTY does not play continuously. After a song or midway, it stops playing and sometimes I have to restart to end up with the same issue. Any help ? I am using picoreplayer as my front end. Strange but I managed to get it to work on my SQUEEZELITE on my computer. I then rebooted my computer and now the SPOTTY app in my SqueezeServer says Failed to get access token Please check Settings/Advanced/Spotty Spotify for Squeezebox in the web interface Do I need to do the authentication everytime ? I went through the authorization process again and I can confirm that I can play tracks from the SPOTTY menu. I was hoping to browze on my phone and send the stream to my computer where there is a SQUEEZELITE app installed. I have tried to play music via SPOTTY and it does play. DISABLE spotty and the scanning works and I can route music directly to the spotify app that i have on my computer. I have the latest SQZ Server and have included the latest SPOTTY plugin
from the list of plugins
I have gone through the process of enabling it through another web
instance of Spotify.
When I enable it and run a music scan, I get this error and music
library does not scan anymore.
ANy help please

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] New to LMS. Cannot see mapped network drive
Hello, I cannot see my mapped network drive on my LMS. I read somewhere that LMS should be run as a service to see a mapped network drive. I uninstalled the application and installed it as "Run as Admin". My computer is setup run without a login and password. I have now changed the setting to "Automatically run at system start" and the username and password are blank How can I get LMS to see my network drive. Thank you. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Album Artist list shows albums from compilations
I am using Logitech Media Server after a long many years. I was using Plex and the transcoding from lossless to lossy put me off but the transmission was very reliable. Tried LMS and it was spectacular. I have ALBUM ARTIST menu which shows albums under a certain artist. But i do not want it to show albums where the artist is part of a compilation. For example: Looking under Album Artist, there is a band called "10cc" and under it are all the albums listed but also an album called "Slow Rock Collection" shows up with only their 1 song under that albums. How can I ensure only albums from the artists are shown and not compilations.
