Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Duplicate tracks when adding a local version after having a qobuz version in library
Are you sure you're using the "Music without online duplicates" library view? I’m sure I’m NOT using that. I would always want to see 2 albums but separate. Now I'm confused... the duplicate wouldn't go away unless you used that library. Are you saying you're not using it, and you do see duplicates in some cases, but not after a full wipe & rescan? ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

If you have the local album first and add it in Qobuz later all is well but as OP says if you have Qobuz first then add local you get them both in one album. Scanner logic issue methinks I can't reproduce this issue. Here's what I tested: - have an empty music folder - integrate Qobuz - drop a file with the same album/artist as one of the Qobuz albums in the music folder - rescan only -> Qobuz album is gone, only local shown, as expected Are you sure you're using the "Music without online duplicates" library view? ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Duplicate tracks when adding a local version after having a qobuz version in library
It only happens if you have Qobuz album and then add local. Rather than clear and rescan you can workaround by Remove local album Rescan for new Edit local album name e.g. append (CD) or something else in brackets Add back and rescan Jim https://jukeradio.double6.net VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* Joggler & Pi4/Khadas -> Onkyo TXNR686 -> Celestion F20s *Office* Joggler & Pi3 -> Denon RCD N8 -> Celestion F10s *Dining Room* SB Radio *Bedroom (Bedside)* Pi Zero+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV) & Bathroom* SB Touch ->Denon AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s + Kef ceiling speakers *Guest Room* Joggler > Topping Amp -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117258 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Well that's what I mean, "clear and rescan" It does seem to lose all play counts. Makes it hard to enjoy some of the more advanced library features. Next time I get duplicates I will try to unfavorite the album on qobuz, update the library, refavorite it, then update the library again. I don't see how this wouldn't fix the issue, but we'll see. The other instance where I have to clear and rescan the library is if I need to change sorting tags (ex, Jimi Hendrix showing up in the H artists), but again I may be able to just move the files out of the library, update, and then move them back. May still lose play counts on those files, but at least it won't affect the entire library and over time, as I use LMS more, I should come across fewer of these instances. And yes, more developers would be great... where does one find those? :( If I had applicable skills, I would definitely lend a hand rather than just offering criticism... I guess I can always offer my UX testing skills :P I way to manually edit the database might be interesting... or maybe having a way to keep the library db itself separate from "extra" data, such as play counts and whatnot. spacecase-25's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73221 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117258 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Duplicate tracks when adding a local version after having a qobuz version in library
The biggest issue (apart from how long it takes to completely rescan my library) is that all play counts are lost every time I have to do trash the library and rescan. Is there anyway to preserve those? How do you "trash the library"? If you do as I read that, then no. If you trash files, then they're trashed... If you use LMS' "Wipe and rescan" feature play counts should be preserved. Are you using some 3rd party plugin for those stats? It would be great if this issue could just be fixed tho... do we need a bug bounty system? :\ No, we need developers... ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Duplicate tracks when adding a local version after having a qobuz version in library
As the title says, if I have an album in my library from Qobuz, then I add that same album as local files, rather than hiding the qobuz album, all the tracks from both sources show up in the same album. This Would you add it by browsing to its files, or by running a scan for new and changed files? ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Duplicate tracks when adding a local version after having a qobuz version in library
As the title says, if I have an album in my library from Qobuz, then I add that same album as local files, rather than hiding the qobuz album, all the tracks from both sources show up in the same album. This creates a duplicate of each track, one local and one qobuz. A full clear and rescan of the library solves this, but I would like this to not happen in the first place. How do I fix this? Actually seems like an issue with the Online library plugin, so hopefully someone fixes that... alternately, is there a way to hide a specific album from my library? If I can just manually hide the qobuz version without removing it from my qobuz library I would be satisfied with that.
