If it doesn't then just create custom library view based on other criteria.. You can put audiobooks in other location for instance... There is few ways to go about it with custom view / advanced search 3x Squeezebox Touch, 4x Squeezebox Radio, Squeezelite (RPi 3B with HiFiBerry DAC+Pro on OSMC), Material Skin Apk, Squeeze Commander, Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0 with Material Skin (Docker in DS218+) Jaca's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58187 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115965 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I checked again and perhaps when selecting all music without audiobooks you only see music in artists, albums, and artists albums... And all your audiobooks are in audiobooks and authors 3x Squeezebox Touch, 4x Squeezebox Radio, Squeezelite (RPi 3B with HiFiBerry DAC+Pro on OSMC), Material Skin Apk, Squeeze Commander, Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0 with Material Skin (Docker in DS218+) Jaca's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58187 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115965 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

This works just fine and I don't see any audiobooks unless I chose audiobooks library view I assume std music without audiobooks should work in same manner [image: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220215/282d938c27d9b01a3011d3a285a090d8.jpg] 3x Squeezebox Touch, 4x Squeezebox Radio, Squeezelite (RPi 3B with HiFiBerry DAC+Pro on OSMC), Material Skin Apk, Squeeze Commander, Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0 with Material Skin (Docker in DS218+) Jaca's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58187 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115965 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Here's my experience just in case it helps anyone else. Getting the tags right was a nightmare. Wrong ID3v2 version (just didn't recognise things), then EasyTAG had set a numerical genre, which wasn't understood, so I thought I'd try ID3v1 and it truncated half the titles! When I finally got the tags right with ID3v2.3, I found that it took multiple rescans to get LMS to accept the changed. Finally there now and this does provide a fairly decent browsing experience, but I still see them showing up in the normal "Artists" and "New Music" lists. Is there any way to make these follow the "All Music without Audiobooks" library view? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] The best way to keep audiobooks separate but still accessible?
Been using LMS for 15 years but have only recently started to pick up a lot of audiobooks. These have been showing up in places like Random Albums and artist lists and occasionally DStM has ended up playing a random Harry Potter chapter or two. Enough's enough. They had to be more separate. So as they were already in their own directory, I unchecked its "Music" checkbox in the Basic Media Folders setting. That fixed all the above, but now they're just really hard to use. I have to go through the library folders route. I can't go to the book folder from a playing track, so it's hard to queue up more tracks from the playing book. It's not good enough either. Hitting serious WAF issues here. I've seen many mentions of Multiple Libraries over the years. Has this ever come to anything useful? Is there a good way to keep the two things separate in modern LMS in 2022?
