Is this deliberate or will --nomysqueezebox still function as expected? I don't think there's been any change in this regard. But I do know that there are some plugins which don't respect the --nomysqueezebox parameter. You could enable debug logging for network.asynchttp and network.squeezenetwork, check to box to stick during restart, then restart LMS with the firewall locked down. This might give you some hint about what call is being done, and where it's coming from. And I've mentioned this before: I'd prefer if you didn't use that parameter. Not because anybody wants to suck up all your data. But because the little reporting LMS does is the only data I have to tell the management that there are still hundreds of thousands of active users out there. I've had a firewall rule in place for some time that blocks access to mysqueezebox.com - which is how I wanted it to be! In the first post, server errors indicate that mysqueezebox.com is not accessible but I assumed that was always the case, at least for me with the firewall rule in place, so it wasn't an issue. It is an issue now though! As a last resort I went into my router settings and removed the firewall block... Guess what? Have uninstalled LMS completely then reinstalled 1561089896 (with firewall off) several times in case some files not written. Still no difference. Installing the March version over the top and LMS works again. LMS Control Panel (as admin) displays the 'Stop Logitech Media Server' button, indicating that LMS is running. The button does nothing though and Squeezelite-X indicates that LMS is not actually running. It's why I want to try installing the version before 1561089896 to ensure that one is running OK. No problems but I had to do a retry as some files could not be overwritten immediately . So I don't think the problem is the LMS exe but something in your system. Have you checked the Firewall Advanced Settings. I think some of the logged problem are associated with network. I have 4 entries for SqueezeSvr.exe in the Firewall each one seems to be "identical" which does nto make sense . I think Windows adds a new entry with each new version of SqueezeSvr.exe so the "identical" entries are in fact for 4 different exes. Perhaps this part failed in your upgrade. Still no luck getting the latest nightly LMS 7.9.2-1561089896, to run on Windows 10. LMS 7.9.2-1559540204 from March (not April as stated earlier) runs fine as do all the nightlies before 7.9.2-1559540204. Can someone point me in the direction of the previous nightly so I can download and install that instead? I should really download and keep previous versions but LMS 7.9.2 has proven so reliable that I stopped doing so. The version dated March works well but I'd rather be as close as possible to the latest version. Just carried out a complete uninstall of LogitechMediaServer-7.9.2-1561089896.exe then reinstalled and still exactly the same issue. Installed an April nightly over the top and that works fine. There were no changes made to my setup between the previous nightly and LogitechMediaServer-7.9.2-1561089896.exe so there's definitely something wrong or at least something significantly different with the latest build! Even carried out a system restore before uninstall/reinstall to ensure there were no system changes over the last few days. Have been using Windows 10 Home 1903 since early June with no issues.
